The China National Orchestra has toured all over the world's five continents and has performed in more than 30 countries and regions including Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. In 1998, the China National Orchestra became the first national orchestra to perform on the stage of the Golden Hall in Vienna, Austria. Under the witness of 1 billion Chinese and foreign TV viewers, it has written a brilliant beginning for Chinese national music to go global. 
In recent years, the China National Orchestra has produced many excellent dramas. The "Ode to Huangzhong Dalu" concert to be staged in Hong Kong will premiere in 2023 at the National Center for the Performing Arts of China, and will be performed in Shanghai Concert Hall, Shenzhen Poly Theater and other places for many times, which is sought after and loved by people from all over the world. 
"Ode to Huangzhong Dalu" is a national music concert created by the China National Orchestra to continue Chinese civilization and promote traditional culture. The twelve names of "Huangzhong" and "Dalü" are the earliest system of naming pitches in words, and are an important symbol of human civilization. The concert was named "Ode to Huangzhong Dalu" because later generations regarded "Huangzhong Dalu" as a symbol of Chinese folk music. As Wang Guangqi, an outstanding musicologist in the 20th century, said: "I will climb to the top of Kunlun Mountain and play the Huangzhong rhythm to make the Chinese people's inherent musical blood boil again. I will make the 'young China' that I dream of day and night appear brilliantly before us."
The performance is based on the National Orchestra of the China National Orchestra, the "Lirenxing" and "Qingshandu" chamber orchestras. Through solo, duet, ensemble, concerto and vocal music, twelve pieces of music representing Chinese characteristics are selected according to the twelve lü, showing the audience the inheritance and innovation of Chinese folk music.
