The owner and his family are hardworking and down-to-earth. The environment is comfortable, the room is clean and tidy, and the double bed is spacious enough for a family trip. It&#39;s away from the busy accommodation area and is a good choice for quiet travelers. It was a rest stop on the way from Changsha to Chaoshan and Shanwei. Unfortunately, it rained and we didn&#39;t get to see the sunrise and sunset at Danxia Mountain.

Choosing this summer trip was a wise choice! While the price was a bit high, the journey was smooth and saved me a lot of hassle.

In the morning, you can go directly to the VIP room at the Visitor Center to rest, drink water, and enjoy a snack. You don&#39;t have to queue up all the way to the 4th floor. Best of all, the VIP room on the 4th floor is air-conditioned, which is a blessing on a hot summer day. You can also freely access the front deck, and it&#39;s less crowded, making for stunning photos. The morning tea was also very generous, though limited to one hour. It also included complimentary refrigerator magnets and card holders, as well as a free VR experience. Lunch was a buffet, and there was no need to change buses. We had a dedicated car for the entire trip, and we could leave our belongings on board. It was a truly wonderful experience.

A special shout-out to our tour guide, Wu Qiong. She was very responsive, attentive, and the communication was smooth. Excellent!

I recommend considering the VIP option for summer vacations, as it&#39;s too hot.

Half of the 200 yuan per person entrance fee went to the scenic area shuttle bus and ferry. The visitor center and Three Gorges Family Village are on opposite sides of the river. Paper tickets must be exchanged at the visitor center; ID cards are not accepted. Therefore, whether driving or taking a taxi, you must go to the visitor center. After exchanging the tickets, we took the shuttle bus to the pier, which is a bit of a distance up the mountain road. The ferry took us to the other side. Following online recommendations, we took the escalator up to Bawangzhai for 30 yuan per person. For 30 yuan, we took three escalators, but we still had to climb the mountain on our own. There were few tourists on the mountain, just Bawangzhai (with performances) and a quiet commercial street. The highlight of the scenic area, the &quot;Water Village,&quot; is at the foot of the mountain, so the expense of going up and then trudging down felt like a waste. The Water Village Village has many local performances worth watching, and the scenery is much better than from the mountain. Overall, this scenic area isn&#39;t worth the price, and the entrance fee is a bit expensive. The next day, we visited the Qingjiang Gallery, and the scenery was much more stunning than that of the Three Gorges Family Village.

I took my parents and children to Yichang this summer, but we hadn&#39;t planned this trip. Since it was incredibly hot during our visit, we decided to relax and canceled our planned itinerary to visit the Three Gorges Waterfall instead. It was a weekend, and as we neared the scenic area, we were swamped with traffic and couldn&#39;t find parking. Luckily, we circled around and found a spot on the side of the road.

It was incredibly hot, but it was so cool near the waterfall. The kids were so excited to see the water, so they jumped right in. We passed the splash pad and went straight in. We finally made it to the core area and experienced the joy of walking through the waterfall! 🙂 It was simply amazing!

The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, this magnificent river with thousands of years of history and natural wonders, made me feel endless shock and emotion after I set foot on it. Last year, my husband and I set out from Yichang and started an unforgettable trip to the Three Gorges. Looking back, it is still vivid.

The first time I saw the Three Gorges Dam, I was shocked. Standing on the Tanziling Observation Deck, the &quot;steel dragon&quot; across the river in front of me is magnificent. It is not only a miracle of modern engineering, but also a symbol of national wisdom. During the tour guide&#39;s explanation, we learned how the dam tamed the Yangtze River with the design of flood discharge in the middle and power generation on both sides. Watching the cargo ship rise and fall step by step through the five-level ship locks is like witnessing a precise mechanical dance, which makes people sincerely admire the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature.

Boarding the ship and entering the Three Gorges, the picture scrolls on both sides slowly unfolded. The majesty of Qutang Gorge is like axe-cut mountains, the beauty of Wu Gorge is like an ink fairyland, and the strange peaks and rocks of Xiling Gorge are like a natural sculpture museum. The boat sailed in the river, the clear water reflected the sky like a mirror, the clouds and mists lingered in the mountains, and the Wushan Goddess Peak loomed, like a fairy in the fairyland, which made people feel the poetic feeling of &quot;the light boat has passed through thousands of mountains&quot;. In the depths of the canyon, the echo of the empty valley occasionally came, and it seemed that the cry of ancient apes had traveled through thousands of years. The beauty of nature was breathtaking.

The beauty of the Three Gorges lies not only in the mountains and rivers, but also in the humanities. In the Three Gorges Family, we deeply experienced the unique charm of Bachu culture. The stilt houses were built on the mountains, the fishing boats were swaying by the river, and the local residents showed traditional handicrafts and folk performances in the melodious mountain songs. A bowl of hot Xiajiang tea and a primitive mountain tune made people feel the integration of simple life and natural scenery.

Throughout the journey, nature and humanity blended like twin flowers. The majesty of the Three Gorges Dam contrasted sharply with the elegance of the canyon, while historical legends and folk customs injected soul into the mountains and rivers. Standing on the deck and looking into the distance, the river is surging, and the green mountains on both sides are like dark blue. In a trance, I seem to see the figure of Li Bai reciting poems and the echo of the boatman&#39;s call. The long river of history overlaps with the real scene in front of me, which makes people feel excited.

This trip to the Three Gorges made me deeply realize that &quot;the mountains and rivers are so beautiful&quot;. The magnificence here is not only a visual feast, but also a baptism of the soul. Whether it is the shock of engineering miracles, the natural beauty, or the heavy cultural heritage, it makes me have a deeper love and awe for this land. The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River are worthy of being the treasure of Chinese mountains and rivers, and it is worth every traveler to experience it in person.
