My last visit to Xiqiao Mountain was a memory from the last century, but this time I was incredibly rewarded.

Next door is the Nanhai Museum, whose architectural design and collections are both worth a closer look.

Families, when you come to Foshan, you must not miss the Nanfeng Ancient Kiln! The wood-fired dragon kiln has been burning for more than 500 years. Every brick and tile is full of traces of time. Standing in front of it, you can seem to see the busy figures of ancient craftsmen, which is shocking and wonderful. Experience throwing pottery with your own hands, from a lump of mud to a shape, and feel the charm of pottery on your fingertips, which is super fulfilling. There is also an ancient stove god banyan tree rooted in the chimney that is more than 400 years old. The Shiwan Ceramic Museum next to it is also worth a visit. It is antique and good to take pictures everywhere, so come here!
