The Adult Bicycle Training Class is a fantastic course for individuals looking to improve their balance, pedaling, steering, and shifting before taking to the streets. This course takes place on bicycles, with the majority of the classes held off the streets in car-free spaces. At the end of the course, participants have the option to go on a short ride on the streets. If you have your own bicycle and helmet, please bring them with you. Otherwise, bicycles and helmets will be provided free of charge during the class. This course is open to individuals aged 18 and above. For any questions regarding this program, please contact Cecilia Vega-Mayer at cecilia@sfbike.org or (415) 236-3869. The Adult Bicycle Training Class is part of the SFMTA Bicycle Safety Education Program, in partnership with the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition. It is made possible through funding from the San Francisco County Transportation Authority's Proposition K Local Transportation Sales Tax Fund. Attend the Adult Bicycle Training Class in San Francisco on November 4, 2023, at Monroe Elementary School, located at 260 Madrid St, San Francisco, CA 94112. Admission is free.
