Several docks along the river offer the cruise. We were recommended to go from Haixinsha. As we booked on the day itself, this theme boat (unsure why it&#39;s pricier) was the only option for our desired timing. ID number eg. passport is required for booking. Trip.com had advised to arrive 30 minutes earlier to &ldquo;wait or pick up tickets&rdquo;. In reality, it&#39;s a MUST to PICK UP the ticket at the counter. Each ticket came with a RMB10 voucher to buy a drink or snack onboard (which averaged RMB30), and a photo with Canton Tower. But these were not mentioned on the booking page (unlike another platform); we only learned these inclusions when the staff mentioned in Mandarin. For the photos, it turned out the free ones are very small (2.4 x 3.6 cm), with keychain frames that we had to put ourselves. They had also printed the bigger versions (5R if I recall correctly) but these are for sale. We decided to get the free ones, since the shots aren&rsquo;t great.

Tickets are 10 yuan, and you can make an appointment on the official account of the &quot;Guangdong Folk Craft Museum&quot; (you can also buy a package with explanations. The colorful ceramics on the roof are really beautiful under the blue sky and white clouds! Absolutely worth visiting this science centre especially if you are with your schooling kids. Very informative and interactive setups, although descriptions are in Chinese, there are friendly staff around to guide those experiential trials.
