This summer, I finally arrived in Zhengzhou, Henan. I personally experienced the long-awaited &quot;Only Henan: Drama Fantasy City.&quot; Through immersive scenes, I experienced the five thousand years of Central Plains civilization. I felt the grandeur and depth of Henan&#39;s history. I declare this my most successful Xiaohongshu trend-following experience. It was truly breathtaking and worth adding to my bucket list.

Visiting the Henan Provincial Museum, one of the museum&#39;s treasures is the Jiahu bone flute. A parent was talking to a child with an audio guide, saying, &quot;Do you know what this is? It&#39;s a Qiang flute.&quot; Yes, you have a poem about that, right, &#39;Why should the Qiang flute blame the willows? The spring breeze doesn&#39;t reach Yumen Pass.&#39; Yes, sweet child, that&#39;s awesome!

If I were the Jiahu bone flute, I&#39;d be shattered right there...

The Jiahu bone flute, crafted 8,000 years ago from the middle Neolithic period, is the oldest and best-preserved wind instrument discovered in my country to date.

The bone flute is 23.6 cm long and has seven tone holes drilled into its body. Made from the ulna (wing bone) of a red-crowned crane, it boasts a beautiful tone and a complete musical scale, capable of producing music that approximates a seven-tone scale. This proves that the bone flutes crafted by the Jiahu people over 8,000 years ago already possessed seven tones, earning it the nickname &quot;China&#39;s First Flute.&quot;

Historians have commented that &quot;Jiahu culture, represented by the Jiahu bone flute, marks the first step in humanity&#39;s transition from barbarism to civilization.&quot;

Qiang flute? Hum...

The Qiang flute is also an ancient Chinese folk instrument with a history of over 2,000 years. At this age, it would be considered a national treasure in most other countries, but it&#39;s still considered underappreciated in China. The Qiang flute is a single-reed wind instrument popular in the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in northern Sichuan, where the Qiang people live. Its main differences from the bone flute are twofold: it is made of bamboo, and it has two tubes with multiple holes. Despite sharing a similar name, the Qiang flute is not the same instrument.

So parents who take their children to the museum, please remember the words of Confucius, &quot;To know what you know and to know what you do not know is true knowledge.&quot;

We first went to Shaolin Temple, where we found a guide to explain the Buddhist culture. We visited the office of Shi Yongxin and learned about Buddhist culture. We passed the spectacular pagoda forest and took a cable car to Shuce Cliff. We returned to Zhongyue Temple and learned about the essence of Buddhism. The next day, we went to Taishi Mountain and climbed to Junji Peak in 4 hours. We went down the mountain to visit Songyang Academy, which was worth the trip.
