The Biennial aims to create a meeting point in Istanbul for the fields of Visual Artsand an exchange between artists and audiences from different cultures. 
The 18th Istanbul Biennial will run from 2025 to 2027 and will be divided into three parts: the first part will be held from September 20 to November 23, 2025, with exhibitions and public programs at its core. The second part, to be held in 2026, will involve collaboration with local arts projects, a permanent educational program and quarterly public events.The final part will take place from 18 September to 14 November 2027 and will include a series of exhibitions, publications, performances and discussions. 
Details of the 2026 and 2027 programmes will be announced in the coming months.

Construction and reconstruction: In 325 AD, Constantine the Great was built as the god of wisdom Sophia, and was damaged in war. Architectural characteristics &bull; Massive scale: the plane is approximate square, 77 meters long,71.0 meters wide from north to south, and the large dome above the central hall is as high as 54.8 meters. The space is more spacious and open than the Roman Pantheon. &bull; Dome structure: The center diameter of 33 meters long, 15 meters high, the hemispherical dome is composed of 40 rib arches, the drum seat is connected, and the four corners are turned into square through the sail arch, and they are framed on the four corners of the huge pier. &bull; Interior decoration: The floor is made of multi-colored marble, and the wall is decorated with colored marble mosaics. The Blue Mosque

The Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey (also known as Suleiman Mosque) uses Byzantine-style domes combined with Islamic architectural elements, with a diameter of27.5 meters, 4 sub-domes and 30 small domes distributed around, without pillar support. No nails were used when construction, relying on masonry structure alone, after 400 years of earthquakes still standing. The central hall inside is nearly 5,000 square meters, surrounded by 260 small windows and stained glass windows, forming a light and shadow changeable &quot;light dance space&quot;. Designer Kocha Mimar Shinan (April 15, 1489 － April 9, 1588) was Michelangelo from the Ottoman era. Along the way, in addition to the Blue Mosque in Istanbul (Sulaiman Mosque), built in 1550 ～ in 1557, we were very lucky to visit two other masterpieces of the great designer: 1 ️⃣ the Grand Mosque in Sarajevo, capital of BiH (Guz Hussere Berg Mosque), Built in 1531; 2️⃣ Mohammed Pasha Sokorovich Bridge in Visegrad, Bosnia and Herzegovina, built in 1577. ​
