The Wahuang Palace, a &quot;living fossil of oriental ancient architecture&quot;! This is not only the birthplace of the legend of Nuwa mending the sky, but also a real-life version of the &quot;Sky City&quot; - the entire palace is suspended on a 100-meter cliff, and it is still as solid as a rock after 1,400 years of wind and rain.

Located in Zhonghuang Mountain in Shexian County, the Wahuang Palace was first built in the Northern Qi Dynasty and has been renovated and rebuilt over the generations. It is now a national key cultural relic protection unit and the largest place for worshipping Nuwa in my country. It is known as the &quot;Chinese Ancestral Temple&quot;.

The main building, the Wahuang Pavilion, is suspended on the cliff with 9 iron cables, and can be called the &quot;Chinese version of the Tiger Cave Temple&quot;. Legend has it that when there are many people at the temple fair in March every year, the pavilion will shake slightly, and the iron cables will make a rustling sound, which can be called a &quot;living building&quot; in the history of architecture.

On the cliff behind the Wahuang Pavilion, there are ten Buddhist classics such as the &quot;Lotus Sutra&quot; and the &quot;Shenmi Jietuo Sutra&quot; from the Northern Qi Dynasty, totaling more than 130,000 words, which is the earliest and most numerous cliff-carved sutras in my country.

The &quot;Bu Tian Stone&quot; on the top of the mountain weighs 10,000 jin, and there are traces of fire on the surface, as if it has really been smelted. There are more than 200 thousand-year-old cypresses beside the Bu Tian Valley trail, covering the sky, and the Bu Tian Lake is rippling with blue waves and the scenery of the lake and mountains is magnificent.
