After strolling around Central, I took the Mid-Levels escalator to Tai Kwun, a more representative attraction in Hong Kong. It was once the headquarters of the Hong Kong Police and the police station of the Central Police District. After renovation, it now mainly consists of a museum, exhibition hall and restaurant. There are many people from all over the world coming and going in the Review Square, and many tired tourists take a rest here. I sat here for a while, but I didn&rsquo;t have time to take a closer look. I will appreciate it slowly next time when I have time.

The Central to Mid-Levels Escalator System was built by the Hong Kong Government to facilitate the movement of people from Mid-Levels to Central Business District and ease the busyness of narrow roads in Mid-Levels. The system cost HK$240 million to build and was opened on October 15, 1993. The annual electricity bill is estimated to be HK$500,000. The plan was originally designed to build six similar escalators, but it was later found to be overfunded and only one was not continued.

I was a bit skeptical about taking the Peak Tram, however, I really enjoyed the ride. The scenery going up the hill is fascinating, and going on a Tuesday afternoon in June I did not find any queue or crowd. It was a sunny and clear day and the view from both the tram and the Sky Terrace was amazing. The fact that there are two shopping areas with restaurants makes the experience even more convenient, also to have a break from the outside heat. I think it is a must see for first timers in HK like me.

There are really many tourists taking the mountain top cable car. The traffic to the cable car station is still very convenient. There are more Xianggang buses. There is also a museum next to the cable car station, which is very convenient. On the top of the mountain, you can overlook the entire Xianggang, don&#39;t have a fun. The top of the mountain is not shaded by trees, and the time to stay is still to be sun-protected.
