We made a big mistake by choosing to visit on Saturday during the summer vacation. We bought the second ball sightseeing ticket. As a native Shanghainese who has never been to the Oriental Pearl Tower, we wanted to take this opportunity to go to the observation deck to see the night view. As a result, we didn&#39;t expect that there would be so many people in the scenic area. It took a full hour from swiping the ticket to entering the venue to waiting for the elevator. The efficiency of the Oriental Pearl Tower is poor. I felt a little regretful when I went up to the observation deck. Although the night view from the observation deck is worth taking a photo, there is no room to enjoy the scenery because there are too many people. It is not as good as the Shanghai Summit Observation Deck in Shanghai Center. The very inefficient operation of the elevator caused a long queue to go down the observation deck, and the air conditioning was not turned on, which made the waiting people very uncomfortable and stuffy. Fortunately, another elevator started to operate later, and the flow of people increased all of a sudden. Wouldn&#39;t it be good to operate like this earlier?
Summary: I don&#39;t recommend the Oriental Pearl Tower when traveling to Shanghai. You can go to the observation deck in the three-piece set. If you really want to go, it&#39;s best to avoid summer vacation or weekends, which may be better. The best thing is to check in, take a photo on the first floor and leave.
