The service was welcoming and accomodating, however, food delivery had to be self collected outside. Additionally, they allowed for luggage storage which was very useful to go shopping without baggages.
Location wise, it is close to Mega mall - the hotel provides shuttle service to and from mega mall. However, it is >20 minutes ride to eateries like 168 & A2 foodcourt and other malls such as Grand Batam, Nagoya Hill which can be predominantly found in Nagoya area.
For the room itself, it was quite dusty and did not have a good view (our view was a building that was still under construction). Amenities given were adequate and towels were changed. They replaced the slippers too, but I didn't use the new ones as I noticed a bug between the slippers (no issue though, as I just used the older slippers)
Came here with my mother and we both loved it, the service was impeccable from the very start to the end. Everything was smooth, when they picked us up from the ferry terminal we were greeted with cookies and a cold towel. Upon reaching, everyone was so helpful and it was convenient to get around as we just had to call or drop a text and a buggy would be sent to pick you up and bring you wherever u want. With every room, you get two very nice bicycles for you to go around and explore. They plan lots of activities so you definitely won't be bored, some of the complimentary ones include free yoga, kayaking, stand up paddling, etc. The paid ones were also very worth it, the spa massage was just lovely. They even hang a hammock in your room upon request and it was my favourite place to relax. The room itself was very clean and spacious. What surprised was me that every night they would place complimentary traditional snacks and a little bed time story of a traditional tale in your room (We got kueh lapis and Kue Bingka Ubi), we did not know about this so we were super happy, felt like every detail was well thought of. Additionally, I was celebrating my mother's birthday and they surprised us with a cake and lovely set up on the bed. There were quite a bit of insects but can't be helped if you want to enjoy the beauty of nature. They do take utmost care against this with each room including a tray of insect repellant, coil that is free to use and we also learnt that everyday they fumigate the place and spray it down twice to reduce insects. The complimentary breakfast had such a good spread too and their on site pool bar and restaurants were all delicious. I usually do not write reviews but this was such a beautiful experience, I had to write this. I would love to give my thanks to all the lovely staff for such a good experience. We will definitely be back!

We had a great experience at the resort, for its impeccable and attentive staff service and amenities within. There isn’t much excitement within the whole Bintan Resort area, but Natra Bintan offers much for its location beside the Treasure Bay. Nice water theme park to chill in for most part of the day. Jacuzzi within our stay is a bonus. Saturday night BBQ special is wonderful. You can also hop over to the Anmon Resort next door for a different atmosphere with open air, movie screening and live band.
Things are pricey though. Prepare lotsa money to enjoy your time in the Bintan Resort area.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. We thoroughly enjoyed everything the resort had to offer and had a wonderful time. The hospitality was top-notch, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway with excellent service. The staff were incredibly helpful—special thanks to Dila, Chemil, and Warso for making our stay extra special.
But the true highlight was the spa treatment—it was an absolutely amazing experience.

Just be aware of that you will need to pay ALOT more coming here. The hotel is a part of gigantic resorts and shares amenities with other hotels that we were not aware. That means: kids clubs, bars and restaurant are all far that you need to take a shuttle only available every 30m. They charge extra for everything: buggy is for rent only, kids clubs is charged by hours, bowling voucher is supposed to be free but that voucher is only for one person and you need to pay for shoes, socks your friends. Even Ping Pong table needs to pay. Not recommended and don’t think we will come back
Unforgettable Anniversary Stay – Exceptional Service & Experience!
We had the most amazing stay at the Marriott Batam to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it truly exceeded all expectations!
From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and genuine hospitality. Their attention to detail and thoughtful gestures made our celebration extra special—including a complimentary anniversary cake that was such a sweet surprise! The hotel itself is stunning. We loved relaxing at the rooftop bar with its beautiful views, and the swimming pool was perfect for unwinding. Breakfast was another highlight—so many delicious options to choose from, catering to every taste. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience. It’s rare to find service this outstanding. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you, Marriott Batam, for making our anniversary truly unforgettable!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and amenities was Secntia brand which was nice. The check-in snd check out process was seamless, service staff was great throughout as they were always greeted us with a smile, very friendly and helpful (shoutout to willy, ilman, tommy, adel & many more). We loved the hotel's pool area, and the breakfast buffet could have more live stations and variety. The location was near Plaza Lagoi & i would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Review for Wyndham Panbil Premier Hotel Batam
I’ve had the pleasure of staying at this hotel several times, and it’s always been a fantastic experience! While the hotel recently rebranded from Best Western Premier to Wyndham, I’m happy to report that the level of service has remained excellent.
From check-in, the front desk staff were welcoming and efficient, making the process quick and smooth. The cafe team, especially during breakfast, were attentive and ensured everything was in place, which really made my mornings. Housekeeping was also top-notch, maintaining the room spotless and well-stocked.
It’s rare to see such consistency in service, especially after a rebranding. The hotel still feels like home, and I’m always impressed with the overall experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Batam!

We booked 4 rainforest sea view villas from Singapore. The rooms are in the traditional Balinese villa resort style. They are spacious, beautiful, clean, and equipped with complete toiletries. There are also two pairs of Japanese slippers for showering or going to the beach, and two pairs of cloth shoes for wearing in the room. The hygiene is good, and they clean twice a day. There are three-hole British sockets on both sides of the long table in the room, and there is no need for Indonesian plugs at all, which is very convenient to use. The balcony also has a large jacuzzi. The room is very quiet, and you can hear birds singing in the early morning. All the staff can speak English, and they are all very kind and polite, and their service attitude are also great. The breakfast is also good, and there are many food choices. Whether you go to eat or go back to the room, you can call the hotel's free buggy. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.
We will continue to stay in the same BanyanTree when I come to Bintan Island again.

This trip was with 8 friends. During our stay at Doulos Phos The Ship Hotel in Bintan, and really enjoying the experience. The hotel is on a restored old ship, which makes it very unique.
The room is clean and cozy, the porthole windows give it a special feel. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Ms. Winda. The check-in process was smooth.
We asked the hotel to prepare a small surprise for two friends who were having birthdays.
There’s a small museum onboard that tells the story of the ship, and the deck has a nice view of the sea, great for relaxing. Breakfast is simple but good, and the overall vibe is peaceful and quiet.
If you want to swim, remember to bring a swimsuit.
It is less than 5-minute drive from the Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal and the hotel. If you need the hotel to arrange transportation, you need to inform the hotel customer service staff in advance, which is free of charge.
It’s a great place if you’re looking for something unique and relaxing.

TTravelmarvelThe seaview villa that we booked was a little rundown in the living room furniture and the outdoor settee set was not put out on the 3rd outdoor level for us. The toiletries in the master bedroom were not replenished on the day of arrival but once we informed the Front Desk, action was taken immediately. Response and replies from the Front Desk were good and the buggy service personnel were helpful too. Kudos go to the service personnel at Reception, Tadd's and Tiigo restaurants. The location is not near to Nagoya Hill Mall and Mega Mall but the Hotel provides shuttle service to Mega Mall twice a day and the Grab fees to and fro Nagoya Hill Mall were not too expensive.

GGuest UserWe recently returned from a five-night holiday in Bintan and stayed at your hotel for the last three nights (nights 3, 4, and 5). While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests.
1. Room Consistency & Communication
Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved.
2. Villa Room Maintenance
On the last night, we moved to a villa. Unfortunately, during our shower we discovered that the drainage system was severely clogged. Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression.
We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved.
Thank you for taking the time to read our feedback.

GGuest UserLoved the location as it was away from everywhere. A nice resort with lots of privacy. There wasn't much to do and it was a good getaway if you juz need that time to chill and read a book.
Loved the generous use of space but wished that they labelled which is the shampoo and which is the bath gel in the bathroom.
Yes there were flies when there's food, spotted a small cockroach and ants too, but oh well, that's life. The food wasn't fantastic and so it is a good time to eat lesser :)
AAnonymous UserOne of the longest standing 5 star hotel in Batam.
View is of greenery - facing the golf course. Gorgeous.
Hotel was running full, friendly reception officer Finy, offered me a deluxe room with twin beds, balcony golf course view. My original booking was standard room king bed.
Shuttle buses at certain timings to Grand Batam
Mall and Nagoya Hill.
Gym was well equipped.
I saw the Sauna and yoga area at level 10
One thing to note- the sun is overhead in the morning.
So the pool does not get sun as it is blocked by hotel building( until around 1015am) . In the afternoon there is chance of sun.
The area where the cafe is gets morning sun.
Cafe Luminal next to the hotel served coffe roast from starbucks .not a major starbucks coffee fan so I had watermelon juice instead.
Cafe’s environment was great for remote working as there were many charge points.
Overall a pleasant stay.
HHenry ZawOverall, the Grand Lagoi Hotel Bintan offers a decent stay, particularly if you're travelling with family and looking for good value.
The definite highlight was the room itself. We found it to be spacious, well-maintained, and comfortable, providing plenty of room for everyone. The bathroom was also quite good – clean and functional. For the price point, the quality of the accommodation felt very reasonable.
However, there were a few areas that could be improved. While the hotel boasts a rooftop bar and restaurant, we found it to be noticeably expensive. Guests should budget accordingly if planning to dine or drink there frequently. The breakfast included with the stay was unfortunately not very impressive, lacking variety and quality compared to what we might have expected.
Location-wise, it's a bit of a mixed bag. The hotel is near the Lagoi Bay area, but we found the water at the nearby beach wasn't particularly clean during our visit. It's also important to note that the hotel is quite far from the main town centres like Tanjung Pinang, so accessing local eateries or shops requires transport and planning.
The staff were generally okay – they handled requests adequately, but didn't particularly stand out for exceptional service.
In summary: Grand Lagoi Hotel Bintan is a solid choice if your priority is a large, comfortable room at a reasonable price, making it suitable for families. However, be prepared for potentially high costs at the rooftop restaurant, a basic breakfast offering, a beach that might not be ideal for swimming, and a location that's relatively isolated. If you manage expectations regarding dining and location, it can be a pleasant base for your Bintan trip.
