Lovely hotel, well located with spacious room, comfortable bed and great service. Enjoyed my short stay and would happily return!

Service is excellent! I absolutely love the idea of shuttle bus service as it is slightly away from the central area. The front desk arranged my luggage to be placed in the room upon my arrival. The room itself is clean and tidy. They play harp, and give away free cotton candy in the afternoon. I made two seperate bookings and enjoyed both room style.

The location is nice and the hotel is beautiful, but the service is a problem. The fire alarm button is located just above the lights switch on button in the room, so it is being accidentally triggered rather often. The evacuation in the middle of the night is not what one would enjoy on holidays or business trips. The dry cleaning is horrible. They completely ruined one of my blouses, and unfortunately, I have only noticed that when I came back home.

Horizon City is centrally located with lots of nice food places and convenience shops nearby, a short walk to Viaduct Harbor, connected to SkyCity ****** and 30mins walk to Ponsoby. we got the Elite Harbor View King rooms (1002 and 1005) and they did not disappoint, views are beautiful! staff are always friendly and helpful, we love the rooms, big comfortable, modern with hot and strong showers, the only draw back is beds are on the softer side and tends to sink lower at the headboard part.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the pier, making it incredibly convenient for getting everywhere by ferry, train, bus, etc. There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. The front desk staff were very welcoming. The room was a bit small, but surprisingly, it even had a Midea mini-fridge. The room was clean, and I could see street views and the sunset from the window. Breakfast was quite basic. Overall, it wasn't great value for money.

The room was great and had everything we needed! The desk was perfect for our child to do homework. The pool was also good, with many kids playing there every day. The location was convenient for getting around! The only downside was that we forgot our child's slippers and didn't get a response after emailing. We hope to retrieve them when we return to Auckland next month!

The location is unbeatable, right across from the terminal exit. First, you'll see the Novotel, and the Pullman is right next to it. You can push the airport luggage cart all the way to the hotel entrance, which is incredibly convenient for those with large luggage. Breakfast is served from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with a wide variety of options, including gluten-free bread and cakes, and freshly squeezed orange juice. The hotel service is excellent; several male staff members in the lobby proactively helped with luggage and pushing the carts. The only downsides are the poor soundproofing at the door – there was constant door opening and closing noise in the hallway all night, which would be very disturbing for light sleepers. Also, the water pressure in the bathroom was not great.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in total. I'm not sure why the room rates were so high here; I later moved to the Crowne Plaza where the rooms were much larger. This hotel has a distinctive design style, but the rooms are quite small, and the dining area is a bit dim. On my first day, I had a lot of luggage, but the front desk didn't help me unload it from the car. The hotel only holds luggage for the same day. When we needed a taxi, we asked the front desk to call a van, and they charged us 40 NZD for a 300-meter ride. I later found out this was extremely expensive, and I suspect it has something to do with their partnership with the taxi company. Additionally, the housekeeping staff threw away an item I left behind. Overall, I chose this hotel because it seemed like good value for money, but the actual experience was just on par with a 'Ji Hotel' (a budget-friendly chain in China). However, the breakfast was decent. At this price point, there are definitely many other options available.

Auckland is New Zealand's largest city, accounting for about a third of the country's population and economy, with over 1.6 million people. That's less than a tenth of Shanghai's population, and the city is much smaller. The advantage is that the city center is very compact, making it perfect for a city walk. Those two days I was running, I even thought about running to the airport, but then I changed my mind and ran along the coast and to Mount Eden instead. The hotel's location is quite good, on a hill, just a few minutes' walk from the harbor, and all the busiest areas are nearby. JW Marriott is a step up from Marriott or Sheraton but not quite on par with a Ritz-Carlton. I arrived on a red-eye flight and slept until midnight after checking in. Dinner was long over, and I didn't get back to sleep until nearly dawn, so I missed breakfast. Hmm, I have no idea how the restaurant is here.
