Guest UserThe bedding was super comfortable! The sofa bed was great too, no backaches after sleeping on it. Kids under 11 stay for free, and there's a daily minibar! That's awesome! The location is really convenient, tram 9 takes you right to the hotel entrance. I think next time I visit Switzerland, I'll stay at this hotel for the whole trip – it's so easy to get everywhere, including a round trip to Jungfraujoch. And since I wake up early due to jet lag, it's nice to know their steak is delicious. Plus, it's right across from the train station.

Tianxiaxingzou518Extremely expensive! Over 8000 a night for a suite in August! The breakfast was terrible, with very few options! The suite on the third floor did have antique furniture, but it was really uncomfortable to stay in. The air conditioning was incredibly noisy; it was either too loud to sleep or too hot to bear, though it was a particularly hot year. The location is convenient, but since all the attractions are nearby, I wouldn't recommend staying in Interlaken. Grindelwald would be better for easier access to attractions and lower prices!

creatboyIt's the tallest building on the street, but the rooms don't have air conditioning. In 34-degree weather, staying in the room was unbearable due to the stuffy heat, and only a fan was provided. The rooftop restaurant's food isn't good, so I wouldn't recommend it. Most of the nearby restaurants also lack air conditioning. I booked for two nights but couldn't stand it after one, so I left, losing 3000.

李家的木The helpful reviews are accurate. Awesome room view and great service from all staff. We have two adults and one child and they connected two single beds and provided and extra bed. I would say just book (level 4 lifestyle room) with a peace of mind and do remember to bring your own toiletries.

Guest UserCar can park at the hotel entrance free of charge. Room is spacious for 4 people. Staff are friendly and provided us free travel card within interlaken area. My daughters are happy that the staff gave them chocolate and candy were put on the bed at Day 1. 10 minutes walk from Interlaken West Station. Not many choice for breakfast but the taste is good. Hotel cost is super expensive during summer time in Interlaken......but I still think this is a brilliant hotel.

Guest UserThis hotel feels more like a 3-star than a 4-star.
Pros: Excellent location, good air conditioning.
Cons: It's primarily a hotel for tour groups, so it feels quite chaotic until you get to your room. When I first entered the room, I was a bit taken aback by how haphazardly the towels and bedding were arranged. However, I stayed for 3 nights, and when I requested room cleaning on the last day, it was sparkling clean—the cleanest it had been. It seems the quality of cleaning varies greatly depending on who does it. The breakfast, in particular, was really disappointing. For a 4-star hotel, it's quite a letdown overall. Even the coffee machine was an old Swiss model, which is surprising given how many guests there are.
I wouldn't recommend staying here again unless the price is significantly cheaper compared to other 4-star hotels.

petter62First, let's talk about the location. From Interlaken Ost station, turn right and walk straight for about 280 meters, and you'll arrive. Actually, you don't even need to exit the station; just walk to the end of the platform, and it's much closer. We discovered this later and always used that route – just make sure you know which platform to walk along directly, avoiding the underground passage.
Second, the hotel service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. They gave a thorough introduction to the hotel and important notices, specifically mentioning not to put food waste in the bins. For self-catered food, there's a dedicated dining area (Pic 8) where they provide free plates and cutlery, which you just need to return to the bar counter after use. We had to book a suite because all other rooms were full. The room was quite spacious, with a small balcony offering a nice view of the mountains behind (Pics 1, 2). The bathroom had a massage bathtub with lavender and ice salt available, which was incredibly relaxing after a long day. Breakfast was served in the back garden, and the setting was lovely.
The only drawback was that the temperature hit 30 degrees Celsius during our first few days, and the room had no air conditioning. (Hotels with AC are rare there, which is understandable, but I still hope they'll improve this in the future, especially with global temperatures rising). After contacting the front desk, they provided a fan, which helped a lot. In the following days, the temperature dropped, and it was fine; after all, it gets cool in the mountains at night. The hotel's decor style truly resembles a vintage European hotel. Plus, there's a row of seats and tables outside the entrance, which is a great spot to sit and enjoy the street view in the evening. Directly opposite the hotel is the cable car station for the Harder Kulm viewpoint, and Hohematte Park is just a short walk away.
Third, directly across from the train station is a large Coop supermarket that has pretty much everything. As others have mentioned, the roasted chicken is indeed cheap and delicious, about 7 CHF for half a chicken. It closes at 7 PM, but there's also a smaller Coop supermarket inside the train station that closes at 9 PM. It has fewer varieties than the main one, but it still covers basic food needs, even if the selection isn't huge.

The view is absolutely fantastic; you can see Jungfraujoch from the balcony. However, the facilities are quite old, there are very few power outlets, and the lighting is dim. Despite that, the location is excellent, and the breakfast is quite extensive. You can even enjoy the Jungfraujoch view from the breakfast area. Overall, the scenery is breathtaking, and the location is superb, close to both the cable car and the train station.

Guest UserThe room was small but clean. The hotel is right next to the train station exit, and there's a bus terminal directly in front. Just a short walk down the hill diagonally opposite the hotel leads to a hiking trail towards the scenic Grund station. The hotel provided a free bus ticket for one stop, and I took the 123 bus which offered the most beautiful views. The restaurant on the ground floor was very busy, and a thin elderly lady working there was very enthusiastic and nice. It was a bit noisy at night due to many people drinking and chatting downstairs. Sitting on the large terrace on the 5th floor in the evening, enjoying the mountain view, was very pleasant.
