It was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.

Hotel is in great location ,my room was fine but furnishings need to updated,the breakfast sadly was overcooked on all 3 days but I would still go back again

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious, a little dated, but spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the city centre, but it’s still easily walkable. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the breakfast was excellent with a great selection. Overall, great value and we’d happily stay here again.

I wouldn't consider this a good stay, as I encountered several issues. First, the check-in process was a hassle since this hotel doesn't have a front desk. I spent hours calling the hotel, facing either ”Line busy” or no response after a long wait. If it wasn’t for Trip.com's customer service finally connecting with the hotel, I wouldn’t have known what to do. Second, the wooden door in my room was difficult to close; it required a hard push and made a loud ”bang.” The glass sliding door of the shower room was also problematic, it fell out on my first pull, and I'm certainly not strong enough to break a door with just one pull. Lastly, and most frustratingly, was the toilet paper situation. It was my first time encountering a toilet without a single roll of paper. I can't imagine what I would be if I hadn't brought my own in my bag that day. On a positive note, the room was well-equipped with a fridge, oven, heater, toaster, and even an iron, which suggests the hotel might have been quite good when the things are all good a few years ago, but not now.

I recently stayed at this hotel and would like to provide some feedback regarding the breakfast service. The overall environment is pleasant, the location is good, and the hotel appears newly renovated. This is my second stay, largely because I previously enjoyed the excellent breakfast. However, on this occasion the breakfast quality seemed to have deteriorated. In my opinion, the food variety was noticeably reduced and did not justify the £20 per person charge. I also observed that breakfast closes at 09:30am on weekdays, yet most guests tend to arrive around 9:00am, creating unnecessary rush and congestion. Extending the breakfast service to 10:00am would significantly improve the guest experience and better accommodate typical guest behaviour. I hope Radisson would consider this feedback as part of their ongoing service improvements.

Comfortable, good breakfast and helpful staff. However the hotel is aging and the bathroom seals around the bath and shower showed black mould stains. The furniture shows signs of wear and tear. Everything functional and clean though. I enjoyed my stay.

Traveling from London to Edinburgh, I wanted to visit Chatsworth House on the way, so I decided to stay overnight in Sheffield. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the train station. The front desk staff were friendly, and the room facilities were basic but clean, with air conditioning available in summer. You'll need to bring your own slippers and toothbrush. Right outside the hotel, there's a bus stop where you can catch the 218 bus, which is very convenient for getting to Chatsworth House. The English breakfast buffet was pretty good. It's about a 10-minute walk to the City Hall, where there are many restaurant options, especially Italian ones.

Excellent, it even has a balcony. The room is significantly larger than other hotels in Sheffield. Although it's a bit far from the university, it's quite close to the cathedral in the city center. The room and surrounding environment are fantastic, with a beautiful little river nearby. Breakfast purchased can be refunded in advance with the front desk if you suddenly decide you don't need it anymore. The service was truly excellent. Just remember to ask the front desk for toilet paper if you run out. I stayed with my family for my graduation ceremony, and even with a lot of luggage, we had plenty of room. If I have the chance to come to Sheffield again, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

Excellent stay at the Novotel Sheffield centre hotel as a couple. it provided an excellent base for going to the tramlines festival . The room had a very Comfortable bed and a fridge was a nice bonus. The bathroom had a shower over bath a hairdryer, iron, ironing board were provided. Staff were polite and helpful.

We stayed in March 2024 had a good experience then, but this visit last weekend 11th May 24 was very disappointing we found the room dirty with insects crawling around under the bed, we asked to change room which we did but found the same problem which i pointed out to the night receptionist, he came up with a 3rd room clean luckily at midnight, now very tired we slept well and spoke to reception at check out who offered us a complimentary Breakfast which was nice but doesn't make you want to return again if the rooms are presented to you so dirty please see photos i did write to the hotel manager on 13th May but as yet have received NO reply
