My wife and I absolutely loved this hotel! The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, always ready to help with any questions. Our room was cleaned daily. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the hotel's restaurant in general was very pleasant. All in all, thank you for your hospitality! If we ever come back to Lombok, we won't even think twice about where to stay.
The hotel is located on a quiet street, not in the center of Kuta – we're not big fans of nightlife, so this was perfect for us. Still, you can walk to a cluster of cafes and shops in 5-7 minutes.
The beach is only about a 3-minute walk away, but it's not ideal for swimming; it's more for local recreation. However, that's an issue with Kuta in general. But the hotel has a beach club, which is about a 25-minute walk. The beach there is better, cleaner, and has a much nicer entry into the water.
The hotel is located by the sea and boasts excellent facilities, including a large and convenient swimming pool. The breakfast spread is incredibly rich, and you can enjoy your meal while taking in the ocean view. The hotel's scenery is absolutely stunning. Besides the hotel's private beach, there are various other beautiful beaches within walking distance. There are also plenty of snack bars and convenience stores nearby. Overall, it's perfect.
The bathroom smells bad, the water is sometimes small, but the hot water works well. The room lighting is not good, so the room feels scary. The room facilities are quite complete there are toiletries and coffee makers, but we got our bed sheet with holes and the power outlets are not much/hidden. Inside the room is quite clean but the facilities outside the room are not maintained well, the swimming pool water is green so think about swimming again.
For a pretty good location close to many centers because2, suitable for the last day before going to the airport.
Perfect resort for a relaxing getaway! Loved the stunning views especially of the ocean. Restaurant served delicious food and options were aplenty.
The one bedroom villa had a private pool which is perfect for a quiet and relaxing dip. Room is clean and spacious too. Spa and restaurant provided excellent services too. We will definitely be back!
The hotel is generally good but without a bike there is nothing to do there. The rooms are already tired, they need repair. The breakfast is generally not bad. There is no trash in the rooms. The toilet and shower are in the room and there is no isolation at all, only a glass door and in the morning when you do your business you disturb others
We recently stayed at Jayakarta Lombok and had a pleasant experience overall, thanks to a mix of warm hospitality and beautiful natural surroundings. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the excellent and friendly staff, who were consistently welcoming and attentive. Their warm service made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They even upgraded our room to be right in front of the swimming pool free of charge, which the kids loved!
The general facilities at the hotel were impressive. From the spacious pool area to the lush, well-maintained gardens, the resort has a tranquil, traditional charm. We particularly enjoyed the sound of the waves gently rolling in throughout the day—it added a wonderfully calming backdrop to our stay. The sunset views from the restaurant and beach were simply stunning, offering a perfect setting for evening meals or a quiet moment of reflection.
Breakfast each morning was a treat, with a good variety of options that catered to both local and international tastes. The food prices across the hotel were reasonable, which made dining in-house convenient and budget-friendly.
That said, there were a few areas that could use some improvement. The furniture in the rooms felt quite outdated, which slightly detracted from the overall comfort. Additionally, there’s no iron provided in the rooms, which was a bit inconvenient for longer stays or guests attending events.
On Saturday evening, we found the music to be excessively loud, going on until about 10pm. While some guests may enjoy the atmosphere, it might not be ideal for those seeking a quieter evening, especially those with kids.
We also noticed some inconsistency in the food quality—what was excellent one day could feel average the next. Moreover, while the beach itself is beautiful, it was often quite dirty due to local fishing activity. To their credit, the hotel staff do make a visible effort to keep it clean.
Another consideration is the lack of nearby amenities. There aren’t any ATMs or money exchange options within walking distance, so guests should plan ahead. Lastly, the hotel does not have lifts, which could be a challenge for those with mobility issues. However, this also contributes to its traditional, resort-style vibe which many will appreciate.
In summary, Jayakarta Lombok offers a relaxing, friendly, and scenic stay that’s ideal for those looking to unwind by the beach. With a few modern updates and consistency improvements, it could be even better.
Unfortunately for the price we were surprised to find the room quite dirty with hair in the bathroom and dirty sheets. Staff were so nice and moved us to another room but this was still dirty. Rooms are nice but the level of cleanliness is a shame especially considering price point.
Spacious room, huge veranda, large bed. Delicious breakfasts with fruits and fresh juices. Beautiful, well-kept territory. Excellent staff. Private beach, rocky bottom, but there are convenient places to enter without stones, quite suitable for swimming.
Time to do repairs, old plumbing, sewer smell in the bathroom, loose door handle, dirty and sometimes torn pillows on the sofa and armchairs on the veranda of the room. The same situation with sun loungers.
Its located at good location, 10 mins walk to convenient store. Its at sengigi but far away from other hotels, 15-20 mins easy hill walk to other restaurants. Theres a seafood restaurant nearby, but hotel restaurant is good enough with reasonable price. Bfast is ala carte and great. Beach is good but not for swimming. Pool area is great. We rent scooters from hotel arranged service. Its less than an hour drive to jetty to go Gili island. Not the best sunset area but sunset is one of the best ever. There are only few bungalows in whole hotel. Very quiet and i had a great experience in lombok, highly recommended and would definitely come back again for sure. Staffs are great and very helpful and friendly.

GGuest UserThis resort is everything 💯💯💯
It’s 10mins walk from the jetty to the resort. Resort is located at turtle point and is more quiet compared to the hotels/resorts near the jetty. You will be welcomed with cold towel and it is so soothing after walking under the hot sun. The resort is so beautiful from the outside and their room especially their bathroom is Da bomb!! Their staffs are so thoughtful and attentive. they They set up our room very nicely when they know we are coming for honeymoon. They gave us complimentary cake. Their breakfast spread is good and decent. By far the best resort I have stayed in Lombok with such a steal promo from agoda. Will definitely recommend couples to stay here and we will definitely be back to stay at AlMarik. Thanks you for the superb hospitality.❤️

KKimDKIt was our first visit to Gili and Gili became the best place we have ever traveled thanks to kind Aini and Widi.
They were so friendly and kind enough to give us a fantastic impression to Gili and Kuno. Thank you for their hospitality again.
The accommodation was perfect. Private, clean and fancy. For sure I will visit Gili Island again and would like to stay longer in Kuno then.

GGuest UserThank you for the wonderful stay at
Pondok Santi Resort!
We loved the peaceful surroundings, the kindness of your staff (always smiling and welcoming!), and the exceptional service-especially the delicious breakfasts we looked forward to every morning. We were truly touched by the thoughtful gesture of preparing pastries for our departure.
It's rare to find a place that combines such attentive hospitality with the serenity of nature.
TTigrah12Amazing experience. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Greeting us on arrival with fresh coconut juice and friendly conversation.
We stayed at the one bedroom villa for four nights. The villa is beautiful, with a big private pool, kitchen, and sitting area. The room is open air, very well ventilated, with a mosquito net around the bed and a fan that blows directly on the bed from inside the net. There is even an AC unit behind the fan for extra comfort, although we found it unnecessary to use. The bathroom is clean and large with a freshwater shower and even hot water! I expected bugs would be a problem, but was surprised by how few were around. The staff brought breakfast to our villa each morning at the time we requested along with hot fresh coffee. (French press coffee. Not instant.) The staff even offered free laundry service for us! Aari, the staff member who catered to us during our stay, is passionate about vegan cooking and offered to give us cooking lessons during our stay.
All the staff spoke fluent English and another staff member mentioned he speaks French as well.
We could not have asked for a more perfect and restful location. Highly reccomend for couples or people looking to get away from the crowds. Please check this place out!
Thank you to Aari and the other wonderful staff!! You are so kind, welcoming and sweet!
GGuest UserLovely hotel at a really good price :) both garden view and sea views are lovely! Two nice pools. Restaurant is good food! Really enjoyed our stay!
GGuest UserHad an Amazing stay @ Sima Hotel. Such an inviting place to come back to after a busy day in Kuta. Once you walk into the hotel the outside noise seems to fade away. Kids loved the pools, the rooms were clean with really good aircon, Breakfast was good too!Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to others and I’d definitely stay there again when in Kuta next.
CCarlaIt was a great stay! The location is perfect, close enough to all the bars and restaurants but just far away to enjoy some peace. The pool closes at 19:00. The breakfast is ala carte. The WiFi is okay. The staff is very friendly. I will recommend this hotel on Gili Trawangan island.
