We stayed at the Venice Hotel for 4 nights from 8 to 12 Jan 2025. The hotel is very centrally located and very close to many activities and food. The hotel offers free buggy service to anywhere within Sunset Town and even a free 30 mins Sunset Town tour, cable car ride to Hon Thom island and Aquatopia Water Park!
As we had an ocean view room, we were able to watch extreme sea sports and Symphony of the Sea performances as well as fireworks from our balcony every night! It was so awesome!!
The staff at Venice Hotel were very polite and helpful. We want to thank Hannah and Scarlett especially for going out of their way to help us with many of our queries and requests. We were also surprised to see the general manager, Ms Marissa, sitting at the reception area, quietly doing her work and observing and rendering help when the need arose.
We would highly recommend the Venice Hotel. But for those who are early sleepers and prefer quieter lodging, this place may not be for you as there are two pubs just across the hotel and you can hear the music till the wee morning of 2am-3am. We worked around this issue by wearing ear plugs!

Overall, this hotel is good!
Pros:
- peace and quite, nice hotel environment for relaxation.
- Pleasant staff, even when we check out, a staff comes to our room door to help us grab our baggage to the reception counter.
- Spacious room, toilet and bath room (both shower and bath tube available).
- 2-king sized beds, great!
- Free airport transfer, better email the hotel directly to make your request at least one day in advance.
- It’s a small scaled resort, but reasonable varieties of choices in breakfast.
- Free minimal water for refill.
- Welcome drink and fruit at room
- free bike rental
Cons:
- the resort is located in a very remote area, like inside a village. Many taxi drivers not sure the location, so many times they lose their ways to the hotel.
- Actually, not recommend for 1-2 girls to book this hotel, its remoteness is really a big concern, both day time and night time!
- I feel scared in the toilet and shower area, because they install something like mosquito net only in window areas. That means I can see through outside, vice versa. I wonder I may see some eyes starring at me when I shower at night…. Scary!
- Their hot water tap takes over 15 mins for heating, wasting lot of water to wait for shower…
- Eco-friendly hotel, they provide plastic reusable sandals, so better bring your own sandals if needed
The hotel and the staff themselves were amazing! However, the only thing that was terrible was the breakfast. I don’t even believe it’s apart of the hotel itself and is actually just open to the public. The service there was terrible. For example, we were not seated nor offered any kind of service or check up during our breakfast. Me and my family decided to just eat else where since we felt we were ignored for the level of “class” we appeared to have. I say this because others were served that seemed to have more so called “class” than us, but oh well the breakfast was cheap cheap,
There are a lot of 4-star hotels in Rakja, so I stayed one night with my friends after reading the reviews.
Although it is a bit old, I had a good rest at a reasonable price.
The pool isn't that small and my friends enjoyed swimming in the slightly salty water.
I will visit again next time I have the chance.
Magnificent hotel. Perfect location for us who arrived by boat and left the same way.
The view is superb. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the Mekong.
The staff arranged for us to have a room early in the morning given our arrival time.
The servers were lovely even though I was sick.
In short, flawless.
location is good, few mins walk to the beach, and few mins walk to the Grand World Nightly Light show place, where many shops and restaurants are there.
There is free bus ride, Vinbus from airport to the hotel and also stops at the city centre. You can save some Grab money there.
Facilities, Standard swimming pool and there are some staff oeganizing water polo games for hotel guests to join. they are fantastic. The slide is right there, but didnt open during my stay, a bit disappointed
the things i dont like was that too many people smoked around the pool, which i felt very uncomfortable.
The breakfast was fine, but there were so many people and staff were not able to keep the place clean. Please hire more staff.
To conclude, the stay was fine, and it is value for money.
I recently stayed at Holiday Fiesta Lake in Phu Quoc, Vietnam with my family, and it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We had booked a room for three people, and everything was well-prepared for our arrival.
The service was commendable — the staff was polite and responsive to our needs. The room amenities were up to the mark, clean and convenient, and the swimming pool was a highlight, especially for relaxing in the evenings.
One suggestion for improvement would be to have a dedicated help desk near the reception to guide tourists about local attractions and transport options. That would make exploring Phu Quoc even easier for new visitors.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Holiday Fiesta Lake to anyone planning a trip to Phu Quoc. It offers a pleasant stay with good facilities and a welcoming environment.
The room is so big and comfortable. The only thing need to be improved is too many mosquitoes in the bathroom. We have to keep using mosquitoes spray to avoid mosquitoes bite . We went there in February . The weather is so good but is also on the mosquitoes season at this moment inside full of trees hotel .
The service is very good and staff are so friendly.

IiampoliIt was the perfect place for my vacation. Beautiful view, all furniture is new, perfect cleanliness and smell. As a freelancer, it was very convenient for me to work at this table and have good Wi-Fi.
There are shops and restaurants nearby. The cable car and park are nearby.
At night, around 21:30, they launch fireworks during the show and you can admire them right from your balcony. There are all the necessary utensils and accessories.
The most luxurious thing about this place is the hotel staff, their attention and kindness helped me feel completely comfortable and safe!
GGuest UserThe best hotel we have stayed in Phu Quoc. Very good restaurant with local food, good breakfast, best beach just 2 minutes walking, the rooms are spotlessly clean and the staff is amazing. We will definitely come back
SSiew EngLow Water pressure.
The bathtub is positioned quite high, which makes it difficult to step in and out safely. People may be at risk of tripping or hitting themselves while trying to use it, as I personally experienced some difficulty.

VViviLeonI had an amazing stay at Tropicana Resort in Phu Quoc! The service was top-notch, and the breakfast options were not only delicious but offered a wide variety to suit every taste. My room was clean and spacious, with an amazing view, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The large pool was a great way to unwind, and having access to a private beach was a huge bonus. Free sunbeds and towel services were provided, and it was fantastic to be able to order food and drinks directly at the beach.
The only downside was the lack of control over the beach beds. I noticed that some guests were leaving their items on the beds early in the morning or even overnight to reserve them, but would only return many hours later. This was really frustrating, as it prevented other guests from using the sunbeds. It would be great if the resort could implement a system to limit bed reservations to, say, 2-3 hours, allowing guests to enjoy the beach, go for lunch, or get a massage, while ensuring everyone gets a fair chance at the beds. I stayed for 5 days and was only able to use a sunbed once, which was a bit disappointing.
Overall, the resort was wonderful, but improving this small issue would make it even better. Still, highly recommend for a relaxing and luxurious stay!
VVFoongWe totally love our experience here . The hotel is very new , smell nice and very close to the beach with live music and fire show in the evening . The staff may look like they lack some smiles at first as they are busy working but once you interact with them , they are extremely helpful and go out of their way to resolve your issues. We did encounter some hiccups and all were resolved . After 3 nights and more communications with the staff, we definitely feel at home . They have free bikes or buggy to the Signature Sailing club they are tied to and we had a great time using the facilities such as swimming pool ,sauna , gym and pickle ball court . There is also free shuttle bus to Grand World but will need to look at Vinbus website for schedule and is extremely crowded though it's the first stop . To us it's akin to staying in a resort while paying boutique hotel price. Will definitely be back again !
