We booked with TUI which was very easy . 2 adults and 11 month old. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was ready on arrival. The room was lovely and clean there was a cot set up for us. Although they removed it for us as we brought our own travel cot. Their is lots of cupboard space in the bedroom but sadly lacking drawers/shelves but we got by. We had a lovely large balcony with sea view even though we only paid for a standard 1 bed apar**ent. The small Kitchenette had a hob, kettle and microwave. If you plan to use the kitchen then you will need to bring or buy washing up liquid. There is a shop in the hotel for any essential. The hotel facilities are excellent. 3 pools with plenty of sunbeds and an indoor pool. The pools were very cold but it was May. Our daughter loved splashing around in the splash park and we also used the indoor pool which was warmer. There is an indoor baby area with a soft play which was brilliant and we usedit a lot. The Buffet restaurant is good. The food was geared towards German tastes but their was plenty to eat and lots of variety. We didn’t eat at the A la carte restaurant so cannot comment on that. There were snacks including burgers and fries available in the Taverna all day. There are plenty of drinks available on the all inclusive including wine, beer, local spirits and cocktails. The cocktails were hit and miss we didn’t try them all but the pina colada was terrible but the Mojito was great. The TUI entertainment team were brilliant. There were lots of activities going on throughout the day and entertainment in the evening. We used the crèche facilities a couple of times and they were fantastic our daughter had a lovely time and they were very caring. I felt very safe leaving her there for a couple of hours. Only downside was on one day she was the only baby and she would have loved it if other babies were there. We had booked in advance but thier were plenty of spaces but it was early in the season. I would highly recommend booking this or the kids club to give you some child free time. The kids/babyclub club doesn’t run on a Saturday. All in all we had a lovely holiday and would recommend this hotel to families looking for a fun and relaxing time.

My 5th time here and another 5 star stay. The staff are wonderful. Cristina on reception is great got a lovely welcome on arrival and the 2 new reception team are just as good. Unfortunately I had to raise a complaint about noisy neighbours this was dealt with efficiently. The bar staff: amazing. Francesca remembered my drink of choice from day 1 and the other staff on the bar, sorry I cannot remember your names, were just as good including the 2 new lads. The 4th floor housekeeping lady was great always took the time to say good morning with a smile. The room was super clean, given a spruce everyday except Sunday when the hard working housekeeper got a day off. This was the first time I’d been on the front of the hotel and was a little concerned it would be noisy, but no I slept like a log possibly helped by a few bacardi and cokes (the measures in the hotel bar are great) had a lovely big balcony with great views. The pool is great with plenty of sun loungers and again spotlessly clean. Food: breakfast each day was amazing with lots of choice and HP sauce. Good quality juices and great coffee to cure the hangover. The evening meals were good with a varied menu including Sunday roast and Spanish dishes. Entertainment every night and was varied and good standard. Plenty of sports on what seems like a million tv’s in the bar, so even when you go to get your next drink you don’t miss the action. There were couples and solo travellers staying and those I got talking to were lovely. The hotel is such a happy place and I could not think of staying anywhere else in Cala Bona. I hope this hotel stays family run for years to come. I can’t wait to get back there next year. Team Sur, thank you for another amazing holiday.

We were super animated with our hotel choice even having cheaper options, but we saw by the photos and reviews that the site was quite pleasant and the accommodation was as we wanted. However, once we arrived, we felt the strong smell of moisture in the room and then we saw that the bathroom exhaustor also did not work, often leaving the environment all wet after being used for the bath, for example, when spending a lot of time like this. Then we saw that the room heating was not working any day of our stay, and the temperature fell and always cool at night. We requested covers for 3X to the hotel, but no one came to deliver us. Finally we had to go personally to make the order at the hotel reception, located in another building. We were given a edredon and a coat to cover it ourselves. We see then that the edredon was also small for two people. We left the cover with the edredom to be covered by the cleaning staff the next day, but when we return to the hotel by night, to our surprise even after the lack of answer to previous requests, the edredon was following without a cape and the cleaners had taken her away. So, with the cold room, we finally continue using the edredon without a coat even to not have once again to ask for any service that would not be answered again. The hotel's location is really very good, the staff was nice, the room size would also have been great if everything was working, but in terms of customer support and we spent cold every night of our stay, besides walking forward and back carrying Edredons late night, from one side to the other, was quite frustrating for the hotel level we thought it was.
