The room is comfortable, with a separate toilet but no bathroom, so you can just take a bath in the hot spring. The hot springs are super comfortable. It seems that there is a beach next to it. The surrounding environment is comfortable. Free parking spaces available
The front desk service was excellent, including the friendly and welcoming driver! There's a free shuttle service. Tell the hotel in advance to schedule a time. There are four shuttles daily, with the latest arriving at 11 AM!
The quiet environment makes it a relaxing hot spring hotel perfect for enjoying the tranquility of nature. ❤
The prices are reasonable, but the restaurant is a bit pricey. You might consider dining out. Laundry service would be even better. Besides the hotel's hot springs, there's also a free open-air footbath right outside, which is great! I'd definitely stay for a few days next time I have the chance. 💕☺️👍
Very good! Very clean, and the room facing the sea is really nice. The breakfast was delicious. The room wasn't large, but very cozy and clean. I highly recommend taking a morning stroll along the beach; it's quite romantic!
My two nights here were a perfect escape. The room felt like a retreat into calm. I especially loved the private baths, quiet, serene, and easy to access.
What made the stay truly unforgettable was the kindness of the staff. From the afternoon tea with a Japanese sweet served in the room to their constant thoughtfulness and gentle smiles, every detail made me feel welcomed and cared for.
My stay here will remain one of the most memorable parts of my time in Japan.
Traditional Japanese garden, very elegant, spacious room, although there is a certain year, but the facilities are well maintained, the terrace can see the mountains and garden scenery, can also hear the sound of the nearby waves, especially comfortable! Breakfast is very rich! If you want to enjoy a private style, you can also rent a ”family bathroom”, which is very cheap.
Conan Fan: Bokoro Ryokan at Wangkoro Tower. Manga episode 69 and TV drama episodes 648 & 649, ”The Script of the Steam Room”: We went to investigate the ”crime scene” in the men's bath. It turned out the door leading to the ”locked room” was locked. The Conan fan said it was probably a precaution after the incident, and he was incredibly engrossed. Mr. Gosho Aoyama returns here every year, so the hotel has many manuscripts and a complete set of manga books. The Wagyu beef in Tottori is delicious, but for Conan fans, nothing is more important than being there in person.
The waitress, Ms. Yamada, was very attentive and even left us a note in Chinese. Highly recommended for Conan fans. Choose the hotel's package including breakfast and dinner; the meals are very plentiful (fresh ingredients, we ate until we were stuffed). There are also complimentary Tottori specialties in the room (biscuits, sweets, pear jelly). A suggestion: if you're soaking in the outdoor onsen, wear a hat, otherwise you might catch a chill afterward.
Please note that hotel check-out time is 10:00 AM. If you have booked your return train, you can choose a train departing after 10:30 AM. The hotel offers a pick-up and drop-off service, which can be booked in advance through Ctrip customer service. Pick-up to the hotel is at a flexible time before 6:00 AM, but drop-off time is fixed.
The hotel is at the head of the hot spring town, diagonally opposite is the century-old bridge hotel, and the public foot bath is on the bridge directly opposite! The hot spring town is very comfortable and picturesque. In the cherry blossom season, the river bank should be full of cherry blossoms. The whole hotel is good. Female soup and male soup are exchanged every day. The hot spring pool is cleaned from 9-11 in the morning and is not open. Breakfast buffet, dinner table. There is a gift department in the hotel where you can buy souvenirs, milk, and skin care products from Misasa Hot Springs. Through Ctrip, the hotel can pick up guests from JR Kurayoshi Station. The time is 14:20, 15:20, 14:20, according to JR time. The same goes for the return journey, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30
Facilities: The hotel has all the standard amenities, including an outdoor private onsen, and the room is very spacious with a sea view. The large outdoor bath also offers a breathtaking sea view, providing a truly refreshing experience. Don't miss out on the delicious Oyama milk from the vending machine.
Hygiene: The indoor areas are clean. Since there are many insects in summer, just remember to close the outdoor door promptly, and you'll be fine.
Environment: Located in Kaike Onsen village, it's a seaside hot spring with a white sand beach below. The sea water is clean, perfect for swimming, and kids can enjoy digging in the sand.
Service: The staff were incredibly thoughtful. As soon as they saw us from afar, they proactively ran over to greet us and helped with our luggage. On our departure day, they even arranged a car to take us to the station, despite it being only a 3-minute drive. They insisted on providing a dedicated car according to our schedule to protect us from the summer sun, which was very heartwarming. The welcome afternoon tea in the lobby offered a variety of drinks.
The breakfast and dinner truly deserve special praise. We booked a half-board plan, and the dinner was exquisite and delicious, featuring seasonal seafood like oysters and three different doneness levels of steak, all incredibly tasty. We enjoyed our meal while watching the sunset. Breakfast was amazing, a buffet with both Japanese and Western options, an incredible variety. There were so many desserts and ice creams that we couldn't even try them all, and everything tasted excellent. They even provided small trolleys to help us carry our food, which is a rare thoughtful touch I've encountered in the many onsen hotels I've stayed at.
Misasa Onsen is a great place.
Saigi Annex is a beautiful and spacious inn.
It's a 15-minute drive from Kurayoshi Station, costing about 3,000 yen. A taxi can be booked from the inn to Kurayoshi Station for 140 yen per person.
The hot spring town is under a 10-minute walk away, and a 5-minute stroll along the Mitoku River, enjoying the tree-filled morning light, is also a 5-minute walk.
The food is generous, with good breakfast and dinner, and plenty of food. Breakfast is simple, but the roast pork and chicken wings for dinner are recommended.
There's a drink lounge on the first floor, offering a wide selection of drinks, including plum wine, beer, and red and white house wine.
The hot springs are good, and the open-air baths are cool.
The air conditioning in the room was very accurate.
The Japanese garden is also beautiful.
For value, it's a 5-star hotel.

GGuest UserVery comfortable, clean. Everything you need is eaten. Everything works. Before the sea is close. Nearby restaurant, very delicious food. Good place. Thank you for the hospitality!
KKokoniinaiThe environment is first-class, just by the sea, you can see the sea by the window, and you can see the sea from the bed. When you leave the store, you are the seaside, a very good beach. The owner is a grandmother who speaks too softly (you must pay attention to listening to it to hear clearly), and is very kind. The room has no bathroom and bathroom, which is very inconvenient. I brought my 70-year-old mother. The elderly have to go to the toilet at night and have to leave the room. It is very inconvenient, but although it is a public toilet, it is very clean. There is a wash basin in the room, but there is no hot water, which is very inconvenient. From the perspective of looking at the sea, the location of the hotel is really the best, but it is really inconvenient to experience that the room does not have a bathroom and bathroom. In the future, I will confirm three things in advance when I book a hotel: whether the room is equipped with a toilet and bathroom (the best bathroom and toilet are separate), whether the basin has hot water, and whether the WIFI is good. Because this trip to several hotels, I deeply confirm that these three items are very important.
GGuest UserVery good homestay, cost-effective and basic facilities. The owner is very enthusiastic and thoughtful. He gave a detailed introduction to the town’s attractions and recommended authentic restaurants. You can even add WeChat (and take the initiative to drive us to the station when you leave. Don’t mind staying) Many netizens at the hotel sincerely recommend this home.
CChuGood location, big room, free parking, but there are no restaurants nearby, you have to drive to Kurayoshi city to find food, the large bath is not very big, the equipment is somewhat lacking, and there is free parking
DDangdixiangdaoLaurieAs a ”free” old powder, Tottori Yanmei is a must to punch in. I chose this ”Shaoyu かまや” from the website of Yanmeiyu Tourism Agency. It is near the Pufu coast and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Pufu coast. Take No. 33 from Tottori Station to ”Pufu Coastal Exit” and get off the opposite, the whole journey is about an hour's drive. The hotel is a typical old Japanese building; a little old, the hotel has free Wi-Fi; the washstand and toilet are outside the room; The bathroom is on the first floor and is public (but it is also used by one person). Booked a berth and two meals, dinner will be served according to the season. The hotel is mainly managed by 2 grandmothers who are nearly 80 years old. The day of check-in coincided with the Japanese three consecutive breaks, and the residents were basically Japanese. The hotel website says that foreign tourists who can speak Japanese and English will try to introduce room facilities, meal times and so on in unskilled English. On the day of check-out, Grandma asked me if I was a ”free” fan? I said yes, she also sent me two free postcards. There is also a millet shop next to the station opposite the hotel. At the beginning, I chose this one and there was no comment on Trip.com . Because I will arrive early, I specifically asked Trip.com if I can help contact the hotel, Trip.com I contacted very responsibly. Indeed, when I arrived at the hotel, my grandmother helped arrange the luggage. I went to take the Pufu cruise and my luggage was already in the room after I came back. Hotel facilities are not too high-end, but they feel like living at home. If you want to experience this feeling, you can choose ”squat house”.
HHongEEI stayed here as part of a Daisen trekking itinerary.
This was my first time at a pension like this.
The owner was very friendly and gave me a lot of information, and we had a fun chat.
The night sky was filled with stars, and the view was breathtaking.
It felt a bit like a goshiwon (a boarding house).
We just slept there.
The bathroom and toilet were shared, but they were clean and comfortable.
We went to the Daisen hot springs and washed up, so we just brushed our teeth and went to bed.
