Staying at Riad Old City Palace was pure magic – a hidden oasis in Fez’s bustling medina that felt like stepping into a warm Moroccan dream. The atmosphere is enchanting: intricate zellige tiles, cozy lounges with plush cushions, and a serene riad courtyard that whispers tranquility amid the city’s chaos. It’s the kind of place where every corner invites you to relax and soak in the authentic charm. The staff? Outstanding! From the moment we arrived, they were like family – incredibly friendly, always available with smiles and genuine care. Whenever we had doubts about anything (taxis, markets, hidden spots), they were there, patiently answering questions, always picking up the phone promptly, and even guiding us with precise directions to local gems. They made our trip seamless and stress-free. Food highlights were next-level. The late-night teas were a lifesaver after long days exploring – aromatic mint tea served with warmth and perfect sweetness under the stars. Dinners were flavorful feasts of tagines, couscous, and fresh salads that burst with local spices. Breakfast? A lavish spread of fluffy pancakes, fresh fruits, cheeses, and endless Moroccan pastries – we never wanted to leave the table! This riad is simply a nice place run by the best team. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts – we strongly recommend it to everyone visiting Fez. We’ll be back!

Overall, I'm very satisfied. The price was reasonable, and the facilities were modern. I'd definitely choose this place again if I come back. The location is excellent, right on the Atlantic Ocean, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a beautiful, expansive view. The room looked exactly like the pictures, no differences at all. Regarding facilities, the kitchen cabinet doors were a bit stiff to open and close, but it didn't affect their use. Other kitchen amenities were quite comprehensive, which was a huge help for our family trip and cooking during Ramadan. Initially, I wasn't sure how to use the induction cooktop, but the gentleman at the entrance was very kind and came to help, even though we had a language barrier, we managed to sort it out. Plus, there was a foldable drying rack in the wardrobe, which was very practical and convenient. Finally, they provided a parking spot right outside, on the roadside. Although it wasn't marked, the person in the reflective vest didn't charge us once they saw us parked there.

This is an absolutely wonderful garden-style hotel! The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. They even invited me to a complimentary dinner, which I greatly appreciated! Traveling alone, I suddenly felt a sense of being at home. The location is very close to Casablanca Airport, and they offer airport shuttle service, which is a huge convenience for those needing to transfer in Casa. The surrounding environment is lovely and very quiet, perfect for resting! Friends who love cats will also enjoy it, as there are many kittens at the property. The boss is Chinese. If you don’t know anything, you will answer patiently. You have been sending messages and care if you have found it. The reply is also very fast and the sense of security is full.

Decor of room was great. Waiting for a lift blocked by cleaners was a pain. 5-10 minutes with no indication of arrival. Breakfast basic. If you don’t want Moroccan Tea you have no other choices. Water pressure poor for a shower. This is not a 4 Star hotel.

Никаких магазинов и кафе рядом нет. В цену проживания включен трансфер от и до аэропорта и завтрак (возможно включить и ужин). Завтрак типичный для марокканских отелей - лепешки, омлет, варенье, свежевыжатый сок, чай/кофе, ужин тоже из традиционных блюд - тажин, харира. К чаю после ужина подают фрукты, но не десерт Красивая небольшая территория, много питомцев, за которыми интересно наблюдать - кошки, павлины, цесарки. За растительностью и газоном следят. Есть бассейн В номерах в январе ожидаем очень холодно, кондиционер на обогрев работает. С горячей водой проблем не было. Из необычного, хозяйка отеля не марокканка, с персоналом и даже котами говорит на английском, поэтому с общением проблем не будет. Персонал тоже говорит на английском, все приятные. Рейс моих коллег, с кем я должна была встречаться на следующий после моего прилёта день,, задержали, поэтому я была вынуждена или остаться в отеле ещё на полдня или сидеть в аэропорту. Хозяйка предложила высокую цену за полдня и обед, когда я отказалась, предложила как компромисс выехать из номера на час позже , ждать в лобби и обед за 22 евро (тоже дорого конечно, даже по марокканским меркам), я согласилась. Обед опять тажин, очень средний. В целом все очень хорошо, трансферы, хороший персонал, обычная для Марокко кухня, красивая территория, единственный минус -довольно высокие цены

Casablanca itself is not very clean due to its dense population. The amenities were OK for the price but we did get into a disagreement with the nice men and the desk with the prices for an early morning taxi to the train station. Beware of insane prices and do some research

The room is large, it is a good place for people who like to live in the Youth Hostel. The service staff is warm and courteous. We use translation software to communicate. Thank you very much for their service.
