Rooms are specious but with following shortcomings: (1) there was no exhaust fan in bath & hence always there was bad smell in the bathroom. No room freshner in the bath(2) a. C. Outlet water was dripping in the baiclny ca-suing balcont slippery & non useable. (3) the hotel is at 2nd & 3rd floor in the shopping center(4) there is no in house eatery kitchen even for tea & snacks.

We had a very nice stay at hotel Shree in Ambaji. 1: It is near to the temple 5 mins walking distance 2: Neat and Clean 3: excellent A/C, all facilities very good, 24 hours hot water. 4: Nice room service even in the middle of the night 5: Tasty food in their restaurant. In short a very comfortable stay and I think one of the best hotels to stay in Ambaji.

The name, Balaram Palace Resort, is deceiving. It was a palace of a small princely state but to a customer, it is big but does not feel like a palace. It has a large ground but I am not aware of any activities like horseback riding or games, musical performances or activities etc. Then, why call it a palace or a resort? The staff is good. They help in many ways, e.g. taking an elderly person in an electric vehicle to the restaurant. The food in the restaurant was good but I would not call the restaurant palatial. The property is on the bank of a river. Thus, one can take a walk to the river. The rooms are cold at night. They placed heaters in the room. In our room, the heater was short-circuited and caught fire. They repaired it but this caused disturbed sleep. One of the most important functions of a hotel is good sleep on a comfortable bed in a warm quiet room and a good bath. If a guest cannot sleep, the hotel should consider it and discount the price or somehow make the person happy. The staff are very nice but were probably not authorized to evaluate how happy the customer is. Since I cannot compare this to other hotels in Palanpoor, I would still recommend this hotel and give it an average rating.

Overall had a pleasant stay at Dev Villa, Ambaji. Had stayed here for 2 days with my family and our stay was comfortable. This is a budget hotel, so dont expect much facilities. Temple is 2-3 mins from hotel. Hotel is in main market area, so area is live with lots of tourists flocking around. Pushkarji the care taker is very helpful and helps you out with whatever you need. GO FOR IT, if you are OK staying in a Budget Hotel
