The Dilly was probably amazing in the 1980's and 1990's but not much has been updated since then! We stayed in a Dilly Classic room which was perfectly fine, a good size, clean with strong Wifi. The shower was powerful and there was plenty of hot water. I know some people on this site weren't impressed by the breakfast but I thought it was great. Obviously, the location is fabulous. However, I didn't feel the room was up to five-star standard. The coffee was instant and the milk small UHT cartons. There was no fridge or mini-bar (though we were in the 'cheapest' room so may be different elsewhere). The toiletries were cheap and basic (so bring your own), there was no plug by the bed to charge devices overnight and no Blu-tooth speaker which seems to be a given now in higher-end hotels. The style of the room itself was quite dated including the landline next to the toilet which I'm sure was incredibly cool in 1986 :) Overall, if this was a three-or-four-star hotel I'd give it full marks, but as it's a five-star, (and more importantly charging five-star prices), it's lacking in some areas. I believe the hotel is currently 'between owners' which makes sense, as I guess the current owners don't want to invest and are ticking along until the new ones take over. It's not dreadful by any means, but they charge a lot for what you get.

Position , Position . Which is why to stay here . Room good size but all needs updating , espcially bathroom . Smicks on walls. Breakfast average - watch out they charge you for espresso or cappucino at breakfast, which is not on , when you pay these rates .Staff in breakfast room not on the ball - when i asked for a tea had run out , I was told I'd have to pay for it , when it had been tehre the day before ! I'd rate this as an average 4* experience .

BEST HOTEL we’ve ever stayed in! Location is unbeatable and Everyone in the staff was so professional and attentive. Manager Shana Thomas was extremely kind and made our stay superb! After checking several hotels for our first stay in London we noticed most of them were just sooo small and we wanted a roomier place. We booked the NYX at a reasonable price and with a King size bed. The check in was so easy and whatever we needed the staff was there for us. They have a pool, gym and the rooftop bar is amazing. Breakfast there is also great. Location is just a block from metro and everything is close by! We will definitely come back

Great location. Beautiful hotel & rooms design. Breakfast lacks variety but you will find what to eat. Our room was missing a full body mirror, but there was one right outside the room. It was missing a comfortable mirror for makeup as well. Otherwise great room and comfortable bed. The service at the hotel was extraordinary, especially Ceren was super helpful and made our vacation so much better! We first got a room overlooking some kind of a factory and she helped us to find a room with amazing street view. Ceren did way beyond the expected to make us enjoy our stay. The spa was also big and relaxing. The rooftop bar is very cool.

I used to work for Shell, and so visited what was then known as The Lensbury Club many times. We booked The Lensbury Resort in a fit of nostalgia. Not much has changed in the 30 years or so since I last visited. The rooms are comfortable and our Deluxe Double was quite spacious, with a large sofa, plenty of wardrobe space and a modern bathroom that included a nice bath as well as a large shower cubicle. On the downside, the main dining area is cavernous and little has been done to make it feel more inviting. The food is quite average and the chef has made some odd choices: for dinner, the Thai cauliflower & chickpea curry is more Indian than Thai and had little flavour. The lamp rump was tasty. The ”hot chocolate with whipped cream” came with no whipped cream and when we asked, we were told there was no whipped cream. Most bizarrely, from the lunch menu the BLT was seasoned with a mountain of thyme in the mayonnaise - a very odd combination and not one that works at all well. It's also annoying to be reminded more than once that ”service charge is not included.” The pool is OK but there were a lot of young children at the weekend so not particularly enjoyable for swimming lengths when you have to avoid kids bombing into the pool. The piece de resistance though was being woken up at about 4am when some new arrivals tried to get into our room. They tried more than once even though we answered the door and told them it was our room. They showed us their key and it had indeed been noted with the same room number as we were in. After that we were also visited by security who clearly thought we were lying about it being our room. We mentioned it at check-out and were told to complain in writing.

We are members of the Lensbury and joined earlier this year. It’s an awesome place - great facilities and grounds. The biggest thing letting it down is the poor food and restaurant service. It always takes ages to order and when the food arrives it’s really not as good as the nearby pubs. If they change this, it’ll easily be the best spot in teddington - such a shame.

The advantage is that the location is very good, the restaurant is also very convenient, and most of the people staying here are British working-class people.

The location is good, with Martha's supermarket and Starbucks nearby.

Warm friendly welcome, stored luggage for us to go out straight away. Room allocated was as requested, very pleased. Bath/shower water is exceptionally hot which I love. Beds are very comfortable & all was spotlessly clean. Plenty of tea & coffee provided in room. Great value for location only a few minutes walk to the Tower of London.
The place is very near to tower bridge, London bridge and many other attractions in the heart of London. Very close to public transport like tube and bus stops. The room is very clean especially room 708 and the breakfast and dinner are good, worth for the price. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

The location is good, the surrounding residential buildings are very quiet and safe. It is not far from the south Kensington subway station, and it takes only ten minutes to walk. In addition, shampoo paper towels, capsule coffee and other materials are free self-collection management, which is very convenient to take. The inconvenient place is to pay for cleaning, 25 pounds a time. And although breakfast is served, it is basically the same every day. The bread jam coffee series is basically standard. Although the bread is not freshly baked, the taste is still very good. I stayed for four days and felt that I was outside most of the day. I came back to take a bath and sleep. In fact, I lived in room 101. The shower was very smooth, but the sink was very blocked.

This hotel, quite frankly, is not worth the money. If you’re looking for a nice hotel or Airbnb go in that direction instead. It’s nice looking, but the quality and details are simply not there. Most importantly, the lack of cleanliness made me very disappointed. I always check for bed bugs and the mattress was full of hairs from previous stays. 🤢 Then, the mugs + spoons in the room hadn’t been cleaned from the previous stay which is a bio hazard. After informing them about the mattress. They cleaned it. After I let them know about the mugs I was told I’d get a free cleaning to reset my stay and make up for it. Well, that never happened. When I asked, they said it was because they cleaned the bed and if I wanted my mugs cleaned I should bring them to them. (FYI, daily cleanings aren’t included in the stay. If you want new towels, you need to get them yourself. Want trash out, you put it out yourself). Also, the toilet was hard to flush we had to maneuver a lot to get it to work. When I asked about it, I was gaslit and told that I’m in Europe now. The shower light was flickering, the hanging art above the bed was crooked, the bed side lamp didn’t turn on, and the shower and sink drains were clogged. The staff wasn’t apologetic and I was treated as “the person who complained” vs. a customer who needed assurance. We decided to continue our stay to avoid the hassle of moving hotels and missing another day here. Then, I canceled the rest of our Sonder stays in Europe. The only positives were the breakfast and the quiet location close to the train station. In summary get an Airbnb, because you’ll be working for yourself anyway. Or go to an actual 4-star hotel— this one doesn’t deserve the rating.

The hotel is okay
Location: At Alagate East Station on the district line, walk 300 meters after arrival
There is a tower bridge nearby that can be lifted and you can go sightseeing. It only takes 10 minutes to walk.
There is a Chinese supermarket opposite the hotel, and mineral water is 0.75 pounds a bottle.
The hotel breakfast is a traditional British breakfast anyway.
The room is clean and looks relatively new. The bed is the smallest bed I have ever slept on.
The front desk is very beautiful🤩
There is a dandan noodle nearby, and I will show you how to make grated intestines.

The room is not big, but it is very clean. It is convenient to travel. It is 5 minutes away from the subway station. There are many restaurants nearby. The bathroom is also very clean and tidy. It is a good experience. It has air conditioning, which is very good.

Stayed in a premier plus room on this occasion and was very happy with it. Bed was extremely comfortable, room was clean and quiet and shower was great. Walking distance to loads of great places and convenient to transport of you need it.

The location is good and there are manu restaurants around. The room is spacious but the bed is small. The bed mattress is not comfortable and the blanket is too thick for this weather.

The decoration and content of the hotel will not go into details, it is not advanced. But I have booked here for the last three days because of the good location. Oxford Street bears the brunt of gift shopping, the British Museum is within easy reach, and Trafalgar Square is not far away. Of course, if you must define gift-giving gifts in the category of Harold, well, it's a little far away.
In addition, the breakfast is average and the service is very good. I said I was too tired, so I found a relatively large room not facing the street if I wanted to be quiet. There is a line of Korean dishes around the hotel. I don’t know why they line up. There is also a restaurant with three Uyghur Chinese characters written on it. The owner is probably a Central Asian who can’t speak Chinese, but the dishes are enough to relieve the pain of homesickness. Lamb is real! Shaxian snacks are also two minutes' walk away.

The room is very small, but the location is good. It is 100 meters away from the British Museum. It is convenient to go everywhere. The breakfast is also very good. You can also order a la carte, there is a menu, and there is no extra charge.

The room was very clean, as is the rest of the hotel. Corridors and public spaces are all well maintained. The staff are very friendly, they helped us with taxis and local information. As we arrived by train early in the morning, they took our bags whilst we went and explored. Even though we got back quite late everything was ready for us to check in. Breakfast has a great buffet selection and really good coffee. The highlight was Atilia who took such good care of us over breakfast, she is very hard working and always with a smile on her face. There was not one problem encountered, check in and check out were really quick and the location is great.

Good hotel for a base for London. The room was clean. Breakfast was good. Staff helpful and kind. We would return if in London visiting. One small point to consider, would be a small area reserved for booking in and collecting keys or a sign pointing to such. This would help especially when the bar is busy!!
