The Dilly was probably amazing in the 1980's and 1990's but not much has been updated since then! We stayed in a Dilly Classic room which was perfectly fine, a good size, clean with strong Wifi. The shower was powerful and there was plenty of hot water. I know some people on this site weren't impressed by the breakfast but I thought it was great. Obviously, the location is fabulous. However, I didn't feel the room was up to five-star standard. The coffee was instant and the milk small UHT cartons. There was no fridge or mini-bar (though we were in the 'cheapest' room so may be different elsewhere). The toiletries were cheap and basic (so bring your own), there was no plug by the bed to charge devices overnight and no Blu-tooth speaker which seems to be a given now in higher-end hotels. The style of the room itself was quite dated including the landline next to the toilet which I'm sure was incredibly cool in 1986 :) Overall, if this was a three-or-four-star hotel I'd give it full marks, but as it's a five-star, (and more importantly charging five-star prices), it's lacking in some areas. I believe the hotel is currently 'between owners' which makes sense, as I guess the current owners don't want to invest and are ticking along until the new ones take over. It's not dreadful by any means, but they charge a lot for what you get.

Position , Position . Which is why to stay here . Room good size but all needs updating , espcially bathroom . Smicks on walls. Breakfast average - watch out they charge you for espresso or cappucino at breakfast, which is not on , when you pay these rates .Staff in breakfast room not on the ball - when i asked for a tea had run out , I was told I'd have to pay for it , when it had been tehre the day before ! I'd rate this as an average 4* experience .

Had such a great stay here, upon arrival we received drinks vouchers to use at the hotel bar (which was amazingly decorated). The staff were all extremely nice and couldn’t do enough to help! The room was spotless and the bed was probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in. The shower was great, although the bathroom was a little bit tight, and the toiletries smelt amazing. There was lots of little bits that made the hotel stand out, like the free arcades and photo booth. The pool was beautiful and atmosphere was super relaxing. The breakfast was also very nice, there was a large variety of food and drink to choose from, and was constantly being updated. I would definitely stay here and again.

BEST HOTEL we’ve ever stayed in! Location is unbeatable and Everyone in the staff was so professional and attentive. Manager Shana Thomas was extremely kind and made our stay superb! After checking several hotels for our first stay in London we noticed most of them were just sooo small and we wanted a roomier place. We booked the NYX at a reasonable price and with a King size bed. The check in was so easy and whatever we needed the staff was there for us. They have a pool, gym and the rooftop bar is amazing. Breakfast there is also great. Location is just a block from metro and everything is close by! We will definitely come back

We are members of the Lensbury and joined earlier this year. It’s an awesome place - great facilities and grounds. The biggest thing letting it down is the poor food and restaurant service. It always takes ages to order and when the food arrives it’s really not as good as the nearby pubs. If they change this, it’ll easily be the best spot in teddington - such a shame.

Great room, location setting and service.
Quality stay for most but does get extra busy and loud (especially if there’s a function and related tidy up is going on in the early hours of the morning and you’re trying to sleep on the 1st floor)!
Amenities use is totally worth it!

Not the most luxurious of hotels, but so conveniently located, that I can overlook that. I found the staff extremely helpful and congenial. Some reviews say this is not so, but I disagree. What you should know if you decide to go to this location: 1. If you plan to stay for more than three days, upgrade to Premier Plus. 2. Add breakfast to your stay. 3. Purchase tissues, toilet paper, and other such necessities at the local Boots store before your first night. You won't find tissue in your room. You can get all the toilet paper you want if you ask, however. But they are small rolls and don't last long. 4. Bring hooks, over the door perhaps, and suction hooks for mirrors. 5. Wifi is subpar. Don't pay. It is supposed to come with Premium Plus, but it doesn't work, and it certainly doesn't work on three devices as advertised. Just go with free and suffer through. 6. Restaurants in the area are great, especially the sushi one (make a reservation). Several restaurants are in the County Hall building.

The location is good, the surrounding residential buildings are very quiet and safe. It is not far from the south Kensington subway station, and it takes only ten minutes to walk. In addition, shampoo paper towels, capsule coffee and other materials are free self-collection management, which is very convenient to take. The inconvenient place is to pay for cleaning, 25 pounds a time. And although breakfast is served, it is basically the same every day. The bread jam coffee series is basically standard. Although the bread is not freshly baked, the taste is still very good. I stayed for four days and felt that I was outside most of the day. I came back to take a bath and sleep. In fact, I lived in room 101. The shower was very smooth, but the sink was very blocked.

This is a simple design and service hotel. There is no waiter in the lobby, password lock, check-in needs to be registered online, even if you arrive at the lobby, you need to sit down and check in on your mobile phone.
The location of the hotel is good, 100 meters from the small garden of Chelushi, there are several restaurants around. Coffee...0 is not too far from several more authentic shopping areas, but it is not particularly close. In this area are more old locals with a lot of heritage, so the simple version of the hotel surprised me!
Room size is OK, but more like a hotel for young students. Breakfast is OK, there is also a small outdoor area available!
If you want to have chic in the old district of London, this location is good, but the hotel does not.
The price has also become a bit more expensive. It is better to see the hotels in the Sloane Square area.

Stayed in a premier plus room on this occasion and was very happy with it. Bed was extremely comfortable, room was clean and quiet and shower was great. Walking distance to loads of great places and convenient to transport of you need it.

The location is good and there are manu restaurants around. The room is spacious but the bed is small. The bed mattress is not comfortable and the blanket is too thick for this weather.

The decoration and content of the hotel will not go into details, it is not advanced. But I have booked here for the last three days because of the good location. Oxford Street bears the brunt of gift shopping, the British Museum is within easy reach, and Trafalgar Square is not far away. Of course, if you must define gift-giving gifts in the category of Harold, well, it's a little far away.
In addition, the breakfast is average and the service is very good. I said I was too tired, so I found a relatively large room not facing the street if I wanted to be quiet. There is a line of Korean dishes around the hotel. I don’t know why they line up. There is also a restaurant with three Uyghur Chinese characters written on it. The owner is probably a Central Asian who can’t speak Chinese, but the dishes are enough to relieve the pain of homesickness. Lamb is real! Shaxian snacks are also two minutes' walk away.

The location is good, just next to the British Museum, surrounded by Chinese and Western restaurants, very lively.
20 minutes walk to Chinatown, 15 minutes to covent garden, about 30 minutes to big ben.
The rooms are small, but clean, air-conditioned and quiet.

The room was very clean, as is the rest of the hotel. Corridors and public spaces are all well maintained. The staff are very friendly, they helped us with taxis and local information. As we arrived by train early in the morning, they took our bags whilst we went and explored. Even though we got back quite late everything was ready for us to check in. Breakfast has a great buffet selection and really good coffee. The highlight was Atilia who took such good care of us over breakfast, she is very hard working and always with a smile on her face. There was not one problem encountered, check in and check out were really quick and the location is great.

It is our second time stay in this hotel and the quality and service is extraordinary. We would definitely choose this hotel again on next stay. Very spacious room. We have rooms facing the road but as the locations are on the quiet side of the street, we didn’t feel any noise at all even with the window opened. Loved out stay

We stayed at the hotel as a family of three during Christmas holidays and could only say the words if praise. Everything was ecxellent, from the staff, check-in, restaurant (we had breakfast), offer, room, spotless. The location is great, only 12 min to the city centre by bus, the bus stations are right across the road. There's a supermarket,a pharmacy right oppossite the hotel,so you have everything you need.Perfect! We will definiteky come again on our next trip to London.

My family was visiting so this hotel was well located with close to buses and also underground which was like 15 minutes walk. Shops like Tesco just outside. The restaurant serve very good food. The menu is mix of Asian and fusion. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating.

I stayed in family room , room 105 the carpet had not been hoovered very dusty hair matted in carpet from previous occupants, the wall light fitting was hanging off wall wires exposed, the Sach window was broken it could fall on adult or child. Mold/ damp in corner of room near window. There was no one in reception to speak to after we checked in to when we left just a key box left out. Lucky we stayed only one night, my daughter and granddaughter both have asthma, so a dirty dusty room not good. I did complain through booking.com they were unable to compensate room. The email I had back from hotel following my complaint was an automated response of hope you had a lovely stay ect. Not happy!
