The room itself was nice and clean. Reception basically can not see people, wifi password can not find people to ask. I heard loud noises from next door from 8:00 to 8:00 in the morning. The whole hotel is very abnormal, giving people a very unsafe feeling. Downstairs is the flagship store of gay bar street.

Living in the first floor, the interior decoration is very unsuitable for the Chinese. The bed shelves are carved up and down, left and right, and the characters on the side of the bed. There is also a large mirror on the side of the bed. The left and right sides of the hotel are all bars and restaurants. It will not stop before 3am, especially the sound of drumming, although the sound is not loud, but the rhythm is similar to the heartbeat, which seriously affects the rest. Fortunately, the front desk service attitude is still very good, but also presented early, otherwise the shadow area is bigger.

Not impressed to be honest! Booked to stay in an executive room but there wasn’t anything executive about it, we had no fridge or water which I read on their website is included, there were also no leaflets or information of any kind in the room which was really strange, because we checked in late after being at a local concert I didn’t want to call about the fridge but it was disappointing. Aircon in the room made no difference, room was very warm and even though I turn the fan to its highest and the temp to its lowest it made no difference. Was disappointed with breakfast, cheap sachets of sauces and even cheaper beans that tasted awful, my daughter tried the smoothie and it was so sour it was inedible,I tried it so can confirm why she wasn’t drinking it! Also cold hard croissants with nowhere you could have arm them up. I’d rather stay in the premier inn at least you have working aircon and a decent breakfast!!

What a fantastic wee hotel the Brooklyn is! We stayed here on the night of the 19th of June for one night before heading off abroad the next day. Great location and a very quirky little hotel far exceeding expectations and better than some of these corporate giants, loved it! Staff were all exceptional to us, friendly and professional always. Bar staff on that evening get a special mention as they were brilliant. Cocktails were out of this world, as stated by Cocktail Queen herself who I was travelling with. Loved the terrace style seating near the bar, never seen that before! Rooms were awesome, bathroom fantastic and I did have a good chuckle at the fact that you could see into the bathroom from the bedroom through a one-way glass panel, hilarious! Everything smelt so wonderfully clean in the building too and I could not fault this place at all! A wonderful stay and a big thanks to all the staff that were on that evening and the next day, you should all be exceptionally proud of yourselves!

Rooms are clean and tidy. Lovely comfy bed but pillows need replacing as falling apart There was no hairdryer in our room but this was quickly rectified once we asked for one, We had a lovely chilled stay in our room but would not recommend the in house restaurant. I have left a separate review of that..👎 Reception and cleaning staff who we met around the hotel were super friendly. We were on floor 5 and it was so peaceful. If I hadn’t heard a shower (very quiet) next door I would have thought we were the only ones on that floor. Hotel is just a short walk from everywhere so in a good position… Only criticism is the hotel is so hot and I mean hot. You melt at reception when you check in. Also we couldn’t get the air con to work in our room so it was. Constantly 19 degrees

We have always preferred to stay in a aparthotel especially when travelling around Europe, but up to recently its not been so easy to find them to such a good standard in the UK. The facilities at Cove are excellent and the room was spotless - I assume its recently been renovated as everything looks new. We were only staying for one night for a concert in the city so didn't use all the facilities but there was a fully kitted out kitchen with fridge with small freezer section, hob, oven, microwave, small dishwasher and kettle and I was pleased to see clean cloths and washing liquid so we were able to easily clean the few items we used without having to use the d/w. There was even a washing machine ! For anyone wanting to stay a few nights this would be ideal as everything you could need is there. The bathroom was spacious and had a bath and shower over and a huge mirror with plenty of place to put toiletries. The separate bedroom was really comfortable and had its own TV. I was really pleased to see a room fan in there also - as the tram tracks are jsut across the road so by running this during the night it blocked out any traffic noise which otherwise could have been heard. The room was pretty warm so its probably necessary and because of this we had a really nice uninterrupted sleep - which is not so easy to find in a city centre. The lounge and dining area again very well laid out and would still have been comfortable for 4 people even if the sofa bed was being used. The reception staff were all so friendly and helpful - I asked if they would mind filling the ice cube tray so we had ice for when we returned (we arrived much earlier than check in time so left our case and went for lunch) and this was waiting for us when we returned. This is what makes the difference - and is why we will always stay here now next time we have an event to go to. We went by train which is why I wanted somewhere near the station - but the hotel does have its own underground parking spaces which need to be booked and there is also a large open carpark right opposite the hotel which always seemed to have spaces available at £15 for 24 hours which for the city centre is excellent - so will probably drive next time. And a really nice touch is having a drinks machine in reception where you can either bring your own mugs from the room and make a hot drink - or use the disposable cups and take a drink out with you - which we really appreciated having. Suited our needs perfectly and Im already booking a return trip in a few months time.

I'm really happy that I decided to book a stay at this hotel. Its central location in Manchester city is perfect for exploring all the attractions on foot. The room I stayed in was spacious and impeccably clean. The breakfast they served was absolutely delicious. However, the only downside was the lack of wifi in the rooms, which meant I had to go to the common area to get online.

First time staying at a roomzzz hotel and was impressed. Check in was smooth and reception were friendly, were given a free room upgrade. The room itself was great, very spacious with lots of windows and living space. I had read some reviews saying the rooms were too warm but ours was cool on arrival and you can change the temp in the room if you wish. Location was fab, we were going to a gig at Old Trafford and just caught an uber from outside only took 5 mins. Approx ten minute walk to deansgate. In the morning we took advantage of the free grab and go breakfast, this was perfect for us as we're not full english breakfast lovers anyway, bonus for the unlimited hot drinks from the machine too. Overall had a lovely stay and will defintly return and look at other roomzzz locations in the future.

The hotel is situated super near train station and Manchester airport. Shuttle bus service was good and drivers of the shuttle bus were helpful and humor. Hence, try not to walk to the hotel although it seems in a walking distance. Hotel room is spacious and well lit. Hotel's breakfast is good as well. Hence, it's definitely a good choice for short morning flight.

Booked this hotel as there was a train strike the day of my flight. Also it's right next to the airport and slightly cheaper than Radissons inside the airport. However, there were no signs from the train station for the hotel. I ended walking around roundabouts I'm not supposed to be on! Turned out I should have walked inside the airport to get out nearer the hotel. Bit of a queue at check in, but ok otherwise. Room was comfy, with a settee. The coffee cups seem to leak- both of them! Would appear to be the material the cups were made of. Big soft towels were a delight. Separate bottles on the wall for shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. Good shower, options of normal and rain shower in a big shower area. Check out was easy, I didn't pay for breakfast. I did a short run in the morning around the hotel car park! Needs must... Overall, I would recommend it, as long as you know how to walk to the hotel from the airport safely! I would recommend the hotel liaise with the airport about signage. If there were signs and I missed it, then they need to be prominent, including detailed directions on the website.

We were at a local event and booked here for convenience due to location. However our stay exceeded my expectations. It's the whole staff team here who make your stay fantastic. They were so accommodating, helpful and really kind and friendly which made mine and my granddaughter's stay extra special. The reception staff, leisure staff and the staff in both the club lounge and restaurant can not do enough for you. Rooms have all the amenities you need for a short stay. Food and drink selection is excellent. Leisure facilities are excellent and all members of the leisure facility were very friendly and helpful too. We will definitely book again

I stayed at the Milton last night the 22nd and it was excellent. I had read the reviews and was a bot concerned by them so approached the entrance with caution. Its clear the building used to be an office block and home to the DHSS. I was directed to the hotel reception where the pleasant surprises began clean airy and a very efficient and welcoming receptionist. Then onto the room which medium sized was warm the bed comfortable and the shower powerful . I ate in the bar and had a well cooked meal and a beer . Next morning breakfast was simply incredible value the selection was large the coffee good and the produce used a step up. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful . Its cheap but its great

My husband and I came to the hotel on Friday 7/10/2022 room 1216 I honestly couldn't say anything negative about this hotel . The moment we walked in Georgia and neelam on reception greeted us warmly and explained everything. Once we settled in we came back to the bar to enjoy the amazing range of cocktails made by Gabriel :) the bar staff were all amazing from the manager phoebe to Pablo and andree they couldn't do more to make you feel welcome . Our room did have a view of the construction but we expected that as we are in the middle of Manchester and it was not a problem at all . The breakfast was beautiful unfortunately I didn't get the gentleman's name who was clearing the tables but he was so nice lastly I would like to give mo from housekeeping a massive shout out our room was spotless and he even gave me a kit kat 😀 what stands out about this hotel is the staff and I mean all the staff shine they all greet you with smiles and I know how hard that can be for a full shift 😀 can't wait to come back thank you

The bed we slept in was not easy to sleep, with a wooden square in the middle. Just staying for one night and nothing else is wrong, the overall can be justified. The room was booked without a bathroom. They gave a room with a bathroom. Before 9 o'clock British time (10 o'clock daylight saving time), you have to go through check-in procedures, otherwise you will have to add 10 pounds. We didn't change the time indicated on Ctrip, and we were charged ten pounds. Later, the Ctrip customer service dealt with it in time.

Hotel is conveniently located near Manchester airport, but if you are checking in late, traveling with a couple of suitcases, you may want to read on. We called the hotel from Brussels airport to get a basic sense of where to expect the hotel shuttle for pick up; we were told by the reception staff / operator, that one has to make the reservation online and the last pickup was at 10:00. We asked if she could make the reservation since I was already on the phone with her, but she explained it was an outsourced party and we had to do it. Our flight had a scheduled arrival at 09:30, so decided to make the shuttle booking. It was not easy to find a link on their website. Called them again to ask them where I could make the online reservation and was told one just has to cut across the street and the hotel was right there. Which we did. Luckily we had a small carryon with wheels each and it was not raining at that time, although the roads were wet from a recent rain shower. Hotel was functional. Clean/nice. IF you are arriving late, with the elderly or with a couple of large suitcases, please keep this in mind. Also call to understand the hours of operation for the shuttle service. It’s England, so having an umbrella handy is always useful. (As of mid March 2023).

This hotel is advertised as no children however there were multiple children present staying at the hotel during our stay. Welcome: Average, not very engaging or informative. Generally pleasant enough. This was our only interaction with any staff for our entire stay. Room: room was nice enough, fairly clean although there was a small stain on our bed sheets next to the pillow. Bathroom door also looked as though it had taken some punches. Walls slightly discoloured but nice decor. Looked outside the window and lots of rubbish on the outside area floor. Sleep: Bed was comfortable, hotel was quiet, next to main road but not to noisy. I think my partner and I were unfortunate that we were next to someone who snores extremely loudly and the noise vibrated through the very VERY thin walls! Breakfast: variety of fruit, yoghurt, hot and cold drinks, cereals and cooked breakfast, pastries, jams etc. Restaurant appeared clean however in the current climate I would have expected hand sanitizers to be present at the food serving station given how many different people are helping themselves to breakfast. I would say this hotel is good value for money and with a small few changes could be improved vastly.

On arrival we were given a nice double room - plenty of space, clean with a well furnished bathroom. After about half an hour we realised the heating in the room wasn't working so I called down to reception. Within 5 mins of calling, a lovely young member of staff came up to look at it. After another 5 mins or so he had upgraded us to an executive room on the same floor which was huge! He even offered to help us move our cases etc to the new room. We were also given complimentary vouchers for drinks and coffees. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice so all good with us. Cannot fault the customer care but there were a couple of small things that weren't great - the toilet in the second room didn't flush well at all but after being upgraded we weren't going to make an issue of it so said nothing Only other thing was the lack of light in the room - we had a side room so no natural light got in. There were a couple of lamps on the desk but far too dull - not great when trying to do hair and make up for a wedding! All in all we had an enjoyable stay at the Jury's Manchester and would stay again.

Very flexible with my arrival and check in. I couldn't get there until gone 10pm but they forwarded me my room entry codes etc. They also stay in touch via email and/ or whats app which is helpful. Single budget room was just fine for the price (£43). It was clean and tidy on arrival. No complaints with the shared kitchen/ bathroom areas. During my stay in September 2023 there were no noise complaints and I didn't hear a peep out of any other residents/ guests. The hotel can't be held responsible for sirens passing by in the night. It's a city. There are sirens.

We stayed overnight at The Midland Hotel for a special occasion. First impressions from the beautiful building externally to the lobby we were very impressed. Beautifully presented down to lovely smelling. We had a superior room which was amazing and very spacious. The bed was huge and so comfortable! We had a front facing room which faces the tram line but we were aware of this and although a little noisy this didn’t disturb us at all. Breakfast was beautiful and the staff again were very helpful and accommodating. We visited the leisure facilities and this was so relaxing and the staff were lovely and very helpful. Prior to arrival at the hotel I emailed guest relations with some concerns and questions and communication from ‘CJ’ was brilliant and very helpful putting my mind at ease. On arrival there was a small issue. I can not commend the hotel and staff enough for resolving this. Joe on Guest Relations went absolutely above and beyond. He was outstanding and a real credit to the hotel. An offer to upgrade our room, free drinks, a later check out and use of the relaxation room in the spa was given to us. Absolutely unbeatable service for a very minor oversight. Loved every moment of our stay and the fantastic service from the staff just made it even better. Will definitely be returning. We stayed here for the night as we were off to watch Ed Sheeran at the Ethiad. The location was great, central and had nearby parking. We expected to pay over the odds due to the concert. This was a great for my Wife’s Birthday and the room as almost £400 for the night. We had paid extra for a “recently refurbished” deluxe room, I would hate to have seen what the standard room I had a originally booked looked like if this was deluxe. The room (232) was no better than a Premier Inn, and nothing had been updated in what looked like 5 -10 years. Basic moderns facilities like a socket near the bed to charge a phone we’re none existent, the standard tv channels did not work, everything was a bit tired expect a giant tartan wall graphic. The shower was a pitiful pressure and boiling hot, not the luxury you expect and we have come to expect for a Malmaison. We had a lovely time watching Ed and then returned late to the hotel and decided to treat ourselves to some room service. We ordered a cheese and ham toastie each, not something you can really get wrong. Cheap sliced white bread, barely any cheese, 1 slice of wafer ham and a bag of crisps between us - for the small fee of £17+ service charge. We have stayed at both the Malmaison in Oxford and Cheltenham and would return there. Not to this one again, we would rather stay in a Travelodge, at least they’re consistent. All the staff were lovely, polite and efficient. The money here is for the location NOT the luxury you’d expect.

Stayed in 2 bed apartment was super spacious, en-suite in one of the bedrooms and equipped with everything needed for your stay. Only thing that I would say could improve would be adding a safe in the apartments, this was something one of my friends wanted to use for some jewellery she had but we couldn’t find one in the apartment anywhere. Jordan on the main reception was fab and sorted out the things we asked for. Lovely, chatty and super friendly. Will only stay at Native for my Manchester trips.

The hotel has its strong and weak points. The cost is cheap for Manchester and based on its location. You can arguably walk to Deansgate (drive was 5 minutes). There is a large Sainsburys , gym and retail park next door: plus a KFC and macdonalds across the road. The rooms are in desperate need of refurb. Whilst the bedding was nice and clean the rest feels old, dated and in need of a refresh. The walls feel thin and you can hear conversations in other rooms and outside on the corridors. The windows are worse in that road traffic and other noise can be heard. The hotel is built like an annex where reception and restaurant area sits on its own but the rooms are part of the larger building opposite. It is relatively secure though being split probably doesn’t help as anyone can let anyone in. The staff are great and very helpful. The car park availability was terrible. Either it is too small for the hotel or the nearby residents are using it: I think the latter as there was dozens of cars parked in the retail park adjacent to the hotel as well (where I had to park).

I’m literally sat typing this at 3:03am because I can’t get any sleep. - When I arrived, the 2 members of staff working at reception were arguing with each other and the girl who served me was in a foul mood (unprofessional) - The bed is uncomfortable - Charged £7 to use wifi for one night stay (most hotels offer it in the package) - There were hairs in the bath from the last person (during covid-19 pandemic) - The soap dispenser in the bath was empty - The hotel seems to be used as a hostel for some people to live in and as it’s after 3am, I can still hear people with the TV on in their room loud. - People chatting outside whilst smoking. It means when I open the window, I smell the smoke and risk setting the fire alarm off. I didn’t realise it was a Britannia hotel. I’ve had shocking experiences in these hotels before but until you get here, you don’t realise as the name isn’t obvious on the booking. If I’d known I’d have avoided it.

This was ideal as there’s a car park opposite and a small supermarket on the road. No fridge but a kettle and tea and coffee in the room.
