Best Hotels in Chumphon, Thailand

We arrived around 10am requesting an early check-in, and the receptionist graciously found us a room. We opted for the deluxe king which turned out to be a corner room, giving us an extra window, which was nice. The downside was that the TV, normally placed where the window was, is now displaced into the corner of the room and smaller than the others. Only Thai speaking channels. The square balcony is nice, with a solid timber table and chair. The room is quite bright, but the bathroom is dark, even with the light on. The king bed is in one piece and comfortable but only one pillow each. The lift is small and very slow (we were on the 5th floor). Breakfast is on the top floor and is pretty ordinary, cutlery is the cheapest I’ve seen anywhere, which I always think, is often an indicator of the quality of the food. The location is good, in the centre of town but set back from the busy street. There is a 7/11 across the road and a Big C a few doors down. The main shopping mall of the town is 5 minutes walk and has a cinema complex, Starbucks and MC restaurant. This mid-range hotel is perfectly adequate for one nights stay but it’s definitely not stand out. I’m giving it four stars.

Easy to book. I made a request through Agoda, and the hotel contacted me to confirm my request. They gave us connecting rooms. Price was great. Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We like firm beds though. Would stay here again.

Only stayed one night waiting to go to Ko Tao. There were only two pillows provided on a queen bed so I asked for a third pillow and was met with “we don’t have any more pillows”. Well for a good size hotel I didn’t buy that for a minute. They opened a room next to the front desk to show me they didn’t have any pillows, I guess they thought I was am *****. I knew the hotel was far from full so I suggested they could use one from an unused room. Well at the end of the day they found one for me to use. The pool was nice and relaxing. We had dinner in the lounge that was surprisingly good. I can’t say the same for the breakfast. Cold eggs and no bacon. It’s not horrible but just not as good as I have been getting the last few weeks. Also no electrical outlets on either side of the bed. Strange I would say.

the room is super nice compare to price range, you have everything you need in the room with nice decoration, you ll get to central 10 min on foot or get a free bicycle for 3-4 min, i will definitely stay there if I'm back to chumpon next time

The hotel is clean, the rooms are basic. Probably an old hotel, renovated, doing a new breakfast, so-so But the hotel is in the center of the city Ample parking Good service receptionist Near the fresh market open in the evening, walk to Beside the hotel there is a pork katha shop at an affordable price, can stop by to eat.

I am not planning stay in chumphon. But i have to stop for while.coz i need to get bus at 9.00pm from chumphon to bkk.and i am found this hotel.i.arrive very early .The receptionist she offer some coffe and toast in the morning .she was very helpful. If i have a chance. I would stay again.

We were in the very good position and were very cheap. The staff were very nice and we could leave our luggage there for a week! The room was large and clean with wifi connection. In the hall you can drink coffee or tea with cookies in the morning and if you want it can also be brought to the room.

The room is spacious, the parking is good, the sleep is comfortable, but the air conditioner ​ late at night, there is a dripping water, it should not have been maintained, wash the air conditioner ​ noisy.

Although we did not stay at this hotel, we still have to say that the boss here is very friendly. All trains to Malaysia were cancelled due to the protests in southern Thailand and we were also trapped in Chunpeng House. We found this hotel and provided a hostel for the three of us. Knowing that we must arrive at Kota Baru, Malaysia as soon as possible, the boss is very trying to help us find a way to find other buses and railway lines that can leave that night, although this also means that we will not stay, will lose business. I like staying at Ban Bamrungsuk. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Comfortable with a single room With a double bed to choose from There is a built-in water mall and a balcony. Standard room size at a comfortable price.
