Fantastic location and great room with a terrace with a great view. We had a very pleasant stay. The floor cooling is great and keeps the room cool without the sometimes annoying air blowing from the air conditioning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We give our best recommendation.

Such a beautiful building and secluded location. The staff are kind and well-intended but unfortunately this hotel has a lot to learn. The food was bad, the music playing in reception all night kept me awake, the spa was cold and poorly-planned. I feel bad giving a poor review as I think the intent is good but the experience is way below the price of the rooms or food / drinks.

One of the most enchanting and beautiful hotel I ever stayed in and I have stayed in over a thousand mostly luxury hotels. If you find yourself in this neck of the woods and need a place to sleep, it is worth at least a 50 mile detour.. Literally your own private castle, with all the luxury amenities, including heated floors throughout. Service was exceptional and the food was delicious..

Great quiet location and very nice rooms with all the necessary amenities. Restaurant on site, but when we visited, there was no sufficient staff on site. For a 4-star hotel that is unacceptable and hopefully more staff will join to make the experience as it should be.

We visited here with a tour group doing the Camino and stayed one night. They did a great job taking in our group of 13, making sure we were comfortably situated. The hotel is new and very nice even though the outside has a lot of the old structure and charm. Rooms have a great little balcony and view. Beds are very comfortable. We ate dinner on-site as well and the food was delicious! They were a little short staffed but are still ramping up and the owners were very kind. Would definitely stay again!

After one of our longest days on Buen Camino, we retired to this lovely retreat in the countryside. Our group inhabited nine different rooms, each unique and elegant. In fact, we toured each other’s rooms to appreciate the variety among them. After a day of walking ending in the rain, the very hot showers, crisp sheets on comfortable beds, and spectacular view of the surrounding country recharged our spirits. Dinner offering traditional Spanish and Galician dishes was delicious, including the Galician wines. The staff and management were friendly and accommodating. Outside are several patio seating areas that invite the hotel guests to relax and share their Camino or life experiences ; additionally some rooms have large terraces (as in the photo).

A home away from home..except a castle :-) Monserrat, Cesar and Marta where awesome. We miss them all already. For us, this hotel rates as one of our best. Stunning yet practical. The restoration of this buliding is breathtaking.

Exceed expectations by far!! The hotel is brand new, but in the room you feel like being in an old elegant Castle. The food and service are excellent!! Views from my room made me remember my trip to Tuscany. I highly recommend this boutique hotel.
