Zleep Hotel Aalborg
4.4/579 Reviews
Zleep Aalborg is a cheap and central place near Aalborg main station. The hotel is very modern, seems newly built - and so are the rooms: everything including bathroom looks new, modern, not-too-used and is very clean and comfortable. Keep that good feeling up, Zleep-crew! Check-in is possible via self-service but there is also staff to help, so no problems here. If you arrive by car, there is a parking garage just around the corner and you can pay for your ticket at the hotel reception. So everything looks and feels fine, just one issue: As new as the hotel is, they seemingly didn't invest in good windows and room doors. The latter means you might hear every single word (yes, I mean it!) people speak while walking the aisle in front of your room. Windows on the other hand are not as isolated as they should be, meaning you feel a constant whiff of air coming through. The bigger problem though is the almost constant noise from outside: People talking, trucks rolling and unloading, construction work (as the hotel is situated in a area of costruction as of August 2021). That really may disturb your sleep... Anyway: Zleep Aalborg gets a recommendation from us!
Aalborg Airport Hotel
4.2/551 Reviews
Located outside of Aalborg this is a good alternative if you travel with kids. You are able to have two rooms ensuite for the price of one compared to many other places. The hotel is located just 5 km from the city centre, so with a car it is very easy and there are good bus connections. If you aim for tome of the atraction in Northern Jutland it is a good plave if you want to drive around since you don't need to drive through Aalborg town. However, the neighborhood is an airport. It is a small airport so don't expect too much noise. But also - the surroundings is a parking lot and nothing else around for an evening stroll. The hotel is fine. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Free parking. Clean rooms. Not really any facilities except for a cosy lobby like a café.
Milling Hotel Gestus

This is indeed a relatively basic, standard hotel but they provided a very welcoming experience. There is popcorn, cakes and slush ice being provided for free in the afternoon, so it was nice to check in. The room was large for 4, so that one of the beds was located in a different section of the room. It was on the back part of the building so noise was very limited. Breakfast was OK, can't really remember what they had unfortunately, so nothing special. Well located to take a walk in central Aalborg. Private parking is available but there is also a cheaper public one just around the corner. Would recommend for a stay.
Radisson Blu Limfjord Hotel, Aalborg

I've been at the hotel a couple of times before, but this time it was really busy and especially during breakfast they couldn't cope with the business. For a business traveller and the price paid I would have expected a better breakfast service and a friendly good morning.
Prinsen Hotel

We booked a small hotel room knowing it was just for our last night of the holiday. Struggling up the steps of the hotel with heavy luggage, the guy on reception (manager/owner?) rushed out an helped me with my case. He said because we were booked in to a small room that was at the top of the hotel, where the lift wouldn't reach, he would upgrade us to a better room. He said my luggage was too heavy to lug up the stairs. The room was an average size and the bathroom was small, but the other room would definitely have been tiny. Had no fault with cleanliness, and the staff were all really nice. No aircon, but they had provided a fan.
Kompas Hotel Aalborg

This is one of the best hotel experiences I have had in a very long time. The staff is very friendly (receptionists, cleaning staff, morning buffet). It was a welcoming atmosphere. The morning buffet is very nice and orderly. I can recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice stay in Aalborg close to the city centre.
