Excellent location, next to the train station. Breakfast was alright.

Perfect location. It was just a few steps from the JR station. Room was spacious but the trees outside blocked the view. Good breakfast with many choices. However, rubbish was found under the table. Table was sticky with some stain.

Quite a good and comfortable hotel

There aren't many accommodations in Abashiri. It's right in front of the station, so the location is the best. There's a check-in counter, hot spring, ice machine, and vending machine on the 2nd floor. Breakfast is also served on the 2nd floor, and it's clean and delicious. The staff is also friendly, and if you stay for multiple nights and don't clean, they give you two cans for free.

The location is very good, there are restaurants and convenience stores around, it is also close to the station, and there are two parking lots. The room is spacious, the breakfast is also very good, the soundproofing and hygiene are also ok, and there are many guests during the operation of the icebreaker.

I originally wanted to book Dormy Inn but I booked too late (I wanted two rooms, but there was only one room left on all the booking websites). Let me start with the disadvantages: Compared with Dormy Inn, Route Inn is a little further away from the drift ice boat terminal and the restaurant gathering area (about 20 minutes walk), and it also lacks the small favor of free ramen at midnight like Dormy Inn. Okay, that's all the disadvantages. Here are the advantages: First, it's cheap. During the peak season of drift ice, Dormy Inn charges 13xx without breakfast, while Route Inn only costs less than 900 and includes two breakfasts. The breakfast is surprisingly good. Secondly, I was worried that the roads would be difficult to walk on in the winter when it snows and ices, but it's actually not bad. In addition, if you really don't want to walk, it's easy to get a taxi between the JR train station and the drift ice terminal in Abashiri. The one-way taxi is between 700-1000 yen. Even if you take it 4 times a day, it's only 200 RMB. Taking this into account, Route Inn is still much cheaper than Dormy Inn (not to mention that it's far from Dormy Inn to the JR station). Also, Route inn's service attitude is very, very good. We stayed for two nights and bothered them three times in total. Once we bought ice cream online and sent it to the front desk by courier service, and bothered them to collect it; once we asked them to help book a taxi to Cape Noto to watch the sunrise in the early morning; and once we sent our large luggage to the hot spring hotel by courier service. The service attitude is quite satisfactory! In addition, their employees have good English skills! As for the hotel room and hot spring bath, we have nothing to complain about. The standard of a three-star hotel in Japan is worthy of the room price. Having stayed at Route inn, I will not consider dormy inn next time I come to Abashiri unless the latter has the same room price as the former.

It's opposite the JR station, just outside the station. The breakfast is ok. Find a seat by the window to eat, just facing the Abashiri logo of the JR station. It's very convenient to go to the Abashiri Prison Museum and the Drift Ice Museum. You can ask the staff for a bus schedule. I told them where we were going, and the front desk highlighted the time for us. By the way, the bus to the Drift Ice Museum is in front of Sukiya, and the return bus stops at the JR station.

The room is about 21?23? square meters, which is a good size for two people. The bathroom is a bit small. There is a hot spring, so the bathtub is basically not used. The hot spring pool is not big. The price of 1000 in winter, including breakfast, is reasonable in Hokkaido. The price in summer may be around 400. The hotel is opposite to Abashiri JR Station and the bus station is also next to it. The location is good. The breakfast is also good, with white porridge, Western food, and Japanese food. After leaving the hotel, you can go to the nearby Abashiri River for a walk.

The hotel is located just opposite Abashiri Station, which is convenient for those traveling by JR and with luggage. The hotel reception is on the second floor, the environment is average, the room facilities are old, and the pillows are hard and high. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the icebreaker terminal, and there are almost no commercial facilities along the way. There is a bus stop at the door to the airport, the terminal and the ice museum. The breakfast is good.

This hotel is right in front of Abashiri Station. Generally, restaurants in Japan are near the train station, but the delicious ones in Abashiri are basically at the bus station a few stops ahead. The entrance of the train station is quite deserted. From Memanbetsu Airport to Abashiri Station, you have to walk through a traffic light with your suitcase. The hotel is a standard Japanese business hotel, very small, dimly lit, with a large bath and breakfast, but we didn't go there. Overall, it's neither good nor bad.

It's right across the street from Abashiri Station. It's very convenient to take a bus to Shiretoko, Ryuhyo Museum and the port. There is dinner on the second floor of the hotel, and you can even take it out. It's especially delicious!

Since we couldn't book a triple room, we could only choose two single rooms. The layout of the room was reasonable, the breakfast was rich, and most importantly, it was close to the station. It was hard to drag the suitcase on a snowy day, and being close to the station saved a lot of time and energy.
