Booked this hotel for 2 nights as we were going to see the Lippizaner horses at the P&J venue which was a short walk from the hotel. Rooms were lovely and food was excellent and freshly cooked. Staff were also very helpful . I would highly recommend this hotel

Stayed here in February 2025. Location is very convenient being beside the P&J Live and very close to Aberdeen Airport. The rooms were immaculately clean. The service was very good. The restaurant was excellent. It has a "family run" feeling which is a nice aspect. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay. Room very comfy, had everything I needed for several days away from home. Welcomed warmly at reception, staff friendly. Good breakfast and evening meal. Gorgeous bar and fire! Staff very helpful if I asked for anything. Walking distance to nearby events centre and local M&S food hall and co-op 5 minutes walk away. Will definitely return in 2025. Previous comments have mentioned plane noise…it’s near an airport so totally expect some flights overhead. However I didn’t hear planes until 6.30am and it never bothered me. Bus outside events centre 727 takes you to the airport every 15 mins so far cheaper than a taxi 🥰

Went for a meal in the restaurant and the food was terrible, the steak was over cooked and the chicken and leak pie was bland, the plate for the fish and chips was covered in grease and the chips was drenched in the grease from the fish. Definitely won't be back.

The location of this hotel is ideal for the P &J conference centre approx. 7 mins walk, with free parking. Reception staff and breakfast staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Breakfast is freshly cooked and of good quality. The hotel's decor is very dated and in need of some refurbishment. Sleep quality is poor due to the walls and doors being very thin so every noise can be heard, including the constant helicopters, I recommend bringing ear plugs.

Excellent service from arrival to departing Very friendly & helpful receptionist, bar staff & dining service nothing was any bother & delivered with a cheery smile Our meal before going to Les Mis was delicious & even the smaller Theatre Menu had plenty of choice Breakfast was one of the best I've had,plenty of choice tasty freshly made & delivered to your table apart from your cereal/ pastries & juices which are laid out for your selection No queuing @ buffet breakfasts & toast machines! Love that this is still family run, & will stay here rather than the Hilton or Aloft at the P&J Arena from now on

We stayed at the Craighaar hotel last night. It is a great location for us attending the P&J live. Check in was quick, easy and staff were very friendly and smiley. Our suite, was very clean and great value for money. Dinner in the restaurant was fabulous, quick service with very attentive staff. Breakfast had a good selection of continental and hot food freshly cooked to order. We can’t wait to come back here next time we are attending P&J. Thank you for a great experience

On arriving at the Craighaar Hotel we were greeted at reception with a friendly smile. Everything was fully explained to us, dinner and breakfast times etc. We managed to get booked in for dinner as I forgot to book. The food was delicious. I must recommend the Tuscan Chicken mmmmmm and also the Banoffee Crumble. There goes the diet lol. The bar was stocked well with all kinds if alcohol and happy with the service there. The ease of just adding everything to our room number made things so much easier. We would happily book again if in the area. Highly recommend this hotel for your next stay. Pauline and Annie ❤️
