It is ideally located within minutes walk to Aberfeldy town centre with all its coffee shops, bars, restaurants and Art Deco cinema.
Home to The Birks of Aberfeldy, favourite of Robert Burns the Scottish National bard. You can visit him on his bench at lower Birks, then follow the footpath for 2 miles up to the Falls of Moness to discover spectacular views.
The river bank of the longest river in Scotland-The River Tay, large play park, tennis courts and a 9 hole golf course are also a short stroll away.
Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery with its award winning Visitor Centre is a must to see and experience and is within 20 minutes walking distance from the cottage. We are proud to have secured a special discount just for our guests which can be used when booking all tours, including Whisky Connoisseurs and Whisky and Chocolate. Go over the historical Wade’s bridge towards the villages of Weem and Dull, to see Castle Menzies, visit Highland Safaris and continue to the beautiful village of Fortingall in Glen Lyon, the longest glen in Scotland. The Keltneyburn Smiddy is also on the way, well known for their metal sculpture artistry.

Location, Location, Location
This quaint and cozy cottage was an excellent place to explore Aberfeldy and surrounding areas! Not far from St Andrews, Pitlochry, Dunkeld, the Cairngorms National Park and the House of Bruar- all of which we visited. So nice to come back to Ivy Cottage at night to shoot a few games of pool and watch movies as a family. Plenty of room for 4 adults and we had everything we needed (except shampoo and conditioner.) One caution - the stairs in the house are steep and narrow so take it slow going up and down. They had automatic stair lights which helped navigate at night. The treats supplied (Scotch Whiskey too) as a welcoming gift were appreciated! Communication with Anna was excellent!

Ivy Cottage is absolutely perfect!
Absolutely fantastic experience at Ivy Cottage. Anna has the cottage full of personal touches and thoughtful treats and amenities for guests. It’s even better than advertised. Easy walking to Dewars Distillery (worth the visit even if you’re not a Scotch whisky drinker - take advantage of the discount she offers), the Birks o’ Aberfeldy and all of the cafes and shops. She is very responsive to questions or concerns which made the overall experience even better. One of the best VRBO stays we’ve ever had…I highly recommend Ivy Cottage and can’t wait for my next trip to Aberfeldy - I already know where we’re staying. Thank you Anna!

Lovely quiet cottage in Aberfeldy
This cottage was great - comfortable kitchen/dining room which was well equipped, plenty of seating in the living room, a very welcome pool table in the conservatory and lovely garden with decking and outdoor seating. Upstairs there is space for 5 in 3 rooms, one with a nice ensuite. Great location for exploring the delight of the highlands.
