I travel extensively for business and stay in many hotels. This Residence Inn was exceptional. Matt and all the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a room on the third floor. It was very clean and quiet and it had a fireplace!!! That made the room very cozy. The hotel is convenient to town and a number of amazing restaurants and is close to the airport. Ft. Wayne is a beautiful city, especially in early spring with all the flowering trees, tulips, daffodils and lovely parks.

A very new hotel, overall is good, but I stayed 4 nights, they don’t change towels everyday

We used Rewards points for a King room and were very surprised to see a suite with a deep jacuzzi tub and a shared courtyard. Very comfy place to spend a night on the road to Michigan. The only problem encountered was the single elevator smelled strongly of smoking hydraulics. I hope the Otis guy shows up soon. We skipped breakfast so I can't speak to quality, but it looked nicely laid out as we left.

My sister and I came to town to spend time with our father receiving hospice care. We had reserved an extended stay suite at another hotel where we had had a good experience several years ago, but when we checked in there during a downpour discovered it was awful now. We came to Holiday Inn Express and they gave us a discounted rate for Parkview, which was greatly helpful since we wound up staying for two weeks. Everyone treated us with incredible kindness and respect and made this difficult situation much easier. From Bobbie’s tasty breakfasts to Amanda, Nate and Katori giving us a great rate and answering our questions to kind and efficient housekeeping by Rock and the rest of the 4th floor team—everyone on staff was very kind. They even gave us a sympathy card and flowers when our dad passed away. We’re incredibly appreciative of how much they eased a couple of very difficult weeks.

The rooms are quite clean. There are no toothbrushes or disposable slippers. Breakfast is okay, there are several options Serve Service: quite enthusiastic It’s that location where it’s inconvenient to take a taxi.

Great hotel with a “parking” fee added to your room fee - that’s okay in that it is only a small charge and I knew ahead of time as they clearly state that up front - but why not just raise the room rate to match others in the area? Gorgeous rooms, comfy beds, decent breakfast. Would stay again.

We had a tournament for my daughters basketball so I called the hotel on Tuesday the 15th 2022 to inform the hotel that I might not need Saturday night because I had a child of ours who might be released from the hospital on Saturday afternoon so I would have to drive home Saturday and not be able to spend the night. It is a 4 hr drive back so the Front Desk person (Jimmy I believe) informed me that not to worry and that I could do this on Friday when I arrived. I called the front desk and spoke to the lady working Friday late morning BEFORE I even checked in the hotel of the situation and she said No Problem and she'll see me when I came in to check in. I came there at Noon and was told the room would not be ready for 2 hrs so I left and then when I came back she informed me that I was going to be charged for Saturday even if I did not stay because it was too late to cancel. I told her my story and she said there was nothing she could do. I called the number she gave me to talk to corporate and they pretty much told me there was nothing they could do either and it was up to the manager. There was NO Manager on site and wouldn't be until Monday. She told me that a manager would call me back and NO manager ever did. I handed the front desk the keys at 11:15am on Saturday morning the 19th and checked out and drove 4 hrs home. I was then still charged for a night I DID NOT EVEN SPEND there. No calls, No care whatsoever, I was told not to cancel that Tuesday and to come in Friday and I could do it then so in case I needed that room for Saturday it would still be there for me. I was misinformed by 2 front desk workers and this is not my fault. I deserve a refund for the Saturday I was NOT there and for being taken advantage of. Worst experience of my life at a hotel the way i was and am being treated !
