Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island

Just back from 6 nights at the Rixos so we had 4 nights at the ala carte Resturants which were exceptional we preferred the Asian and Italian mermaid was nice but we preferred the others. Also the buffet was fabulous for breakfast, lunch, dinner great selection at any time of the day & all the staff are so friendly. Also people’s for lunch at the pool was so good we had lovely food and drinks. Definitely book all Resturant’s when Checking in as they book up so fast. The lobby bar in the evening was always busy but we enjoyed sitting outdoors close to the air con as the area is so nice and excellent service. Rooms are spotlessly clean great amenities with a mini bar that has minerals, water, crisps and chocolate which are all replaced daily. We asked for a room close to a lift and we had a room right beside the lift. Always taxis available to visit the malls when going out and if you’re visiting make sure to go to the grand mosque it’s a must see. The pool areas are fab great views of the sea and a lovely beach the only complaint is there was never enough staff in the pool bar one guy trying to do all orders and you have kids asking for milkshakes it would be nice to have more staff and maybe an adults only pool would really make it. I was also disappointed that none of the exercise classes took place in the pool when we visited as I seen them Online and was looking forward to participating. Check out the pool as the spa it’s so tranquil All staff are so friendly from the doormen, reception staff, pool attendants, gardeners, waiting staff,room attendants. But a big shout out to Brian the door man and the naresh I think I’ve spelt it correctly at pool who were just exceptional.

From arrival to departure, this hotel has been incredible and the professional and friendliness is second to none. We have previously stayed at the Rixos Sharm El Sheikh Adults only last September and we were so impressed we booked this hotel based on reviews from others who had stayed at both. This resort is not adults only but the hotel is so large it never feels busy. We had a late in check in and did not arrive while 9.30pm but we were checked in quickly and shown to our room. The room was beautiful. We had a delux sea view room. The rooms are beautiful with everything you may need. They had shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. There was all toothbrush with toothpaste, ear buds and cotton wool pads also, the air con works really well. There is a mini bar with soft drinks and also chocolate bars and crisps which are replenished daily. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Everywhere is well maintained and looks brand new. The restaurants were incredible. We had the option of 4 Al A Carte restaurants for a 10 night stay, however we found this not what we would expect for a premium resort as Rixos Sharm you had unlimited use of all the Al a Cartes. We ate at the Turkish, Asian and Italian. They were all very good, however our favourite was the Italian. The pizzas are the best I have ever tasted. The buffet restaurant Turquoise was very good and we had breakfast most mornings which had everything you could think of. Lunch is also served and this is the same as the evening buffet. Lots of options. My husband is a picky eater and he always found plenty to eat. At lunch there is a sit down restaurant called The People’s restaurant. They offer sandwiches and snacks, Burgers and wraps etc Our favourite place after breakfast was to have coffee in the Lobby bar, They do the best coffee’s. They also have pastries and cakes in the afternoon which were amazing also. This is a very chilled area during the day and on an evening. There is a very well equipped gym, we used this several times and it has the latest equipment. Towels are provided and there is also an amazing Smoothie Bar which is often missed by many. The beach is beautiful. Lots of sun beds are available and also there is a waiter service. We never had an issue getting sun loungers, even at 11.30am. The beach bar offer cool boxes that they fill with soft drinks and fill with ice. This kept the drinks cool for hours. The ocean is so calm. The water is the warmest water we have ever been in. The drinks are all premium label. I’m a gin drinker and they had a great selection with Fever Tree tonic. Please be aware if you have a late flight. Our pick up was not while 8.30pm, we managed to get a check out at 1.30pm but we could only get lunch 12pm to 4pm, and then anything after this time, food and drinks were chargeable. This again is very different to Rixos Sharm as you were still able to eat and drink until your pick up. We were still able to use the facilities and showers. These were availab

An absolutely phenomenal hotel with superb staff throughout. Nothing is too much trouble and service is their top priority. The pool area, the beach, the restaurants are all superb. We travel regularly and I would definitely put this hotel at the top of my list. 100% returning soon. We are a couple with no children and never had an issue with it being a family hotel. There are quiet areas for adults only like the spa which was superb.

We had a wonderful stay in the hotel. All the staff were so polite, helpful and friendly . Visiting many of the bars and restaurants one particular waitress was more than attentive, Melanie in the Italy restaurant. She was attentive and always there when we were looking for assistance , nothing was trouble for her. She made our experience so much more enjoyable.

The most beautiful beach, food amazing, room absolutely amazing with lots of space. Kids water park was great too plus the wave pool. We loved our stay and we loved Abu Dhabi. It was a perfect break for our family. Little touches at the hotel like dressing gowns for the kids and slippers were cute. We have no complaints and enjoyed every second. We even took part in some of the Aqua classes which we loved. Stand out staff for us were at the beach. Thank you. Also enjoyed the welcome drinks reception that we received.
