Beautiful accommodation, helpful and friendly staff, and the food…… Wow!!! Seriously the best prawns I’ve ever eaten and to top that, the best spicy prawns I’ve ever tasted. They have arranged and provided airport and inter-city transfers and transport for the 15 days that I’m here. 10 out of 10!!!!!

What a fantastic beautiful and well maintained Boutique Hotel. This is a homely relaxing place to stay, with great rooms (Lake Como) fantastic food and an amazing team of staff who couldn’t do enough to ensure your stay was the best. Thanks Team Monticello

The staff was very attentive.Room was very clean. I had a Swedish Massage from Sabina and it was so amazing I requested her a few hours later, to have a foot massage. The front desk was very responsive with all request made. The front desk also worked diligently when my credit card payment, since it was having a glitch, since I was out of the country.

Villa Monticello was a last minute decision after the apartment we had originally booked on arrival to Ghana had turned out to be a scam. We are so blown away by the hotel and it’s professionalism and care. I cannot be more happy with this hotel! It was clean, very quiet and peaceful and very accommodating. This hotel is typically for business clientele however we had arrived with our toddler and they were more than happy to cater to our needs. We stayed in the Nzulezu room fitted with a kitchenette which was absolutely perfect for us. The daily cleaning service never failed to impress. The breakfast lunch and dinner options were amazing, the staff were all very pleasant and in our 10-day stay we built such a lovely relationship with all the staff. Thank you to Matilda, Irene, Emmanuela, Steph, Jessica, Derrick and everyone else who made our stay a wonderful one. Thank you for everything!

My wife and I had the most wonderful stay at Villa Monticello. From the moment we landed in Accra, we were warmly greeted with an airport pickup that set the tone for the rest of our experience. Every detail of our stay was handled with care, and the hospitality was exceptional. Our room was spotless, beautifully designed, and truly felt like a home away from home. The plush robes were a cozy touch, and the deep, spa-like bathtub quickly became a personal favorite—a perfect way to unwind. We treated ourselves to an in-room spa day, which was both relaxing and rejuvenating, adding an extra layer of luxury to our visit. The owners were incredibly personable and generous with their time, offering thoughtful city recommendations that made exploring Accra even more memorable. It’s rare to find such genuine care and warmth, and it made our stay feel extra special. To the entire team at Villa Monticello—thank you for your kindness, attention to detail, and for creating such a beautiful space. We left feeling cared for and truly refreshed. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Accra.

Excellent service, clean, comfortable, and comfortably located close to airport. The room was great and the staff friendly and helpful. Outside the hotel a small shopping center with a useful western style supermarket and ATM. Hotel restaurant offered good food, freshly made while adjusted to foreigner sensitivities.

Fantastic location, excellent rooms and service and great customer service. Enjoyed my stay and will surely return. The rooms are themed and very cozy, yet spacious enough. It’s also not too far from the airport. Had no issues at all. Would definitely recommend.

Yes the pillows are heavenly soft lol. It was the quiet and serene atmosphere and room I needed. The staff were pleasant and the place smells really good! Highly recommended for a solo , Couple or small group trip. Location is also central and close to the airport!
