Perfect room, clean hotel was not let into the restaurant because of age the restaurant manager, didn’t let us eat in the restaurant. We had to order room service instead, and there was tables in the restaurant the spa was okay, but the spa staff were making dirty looks on us and reception tried to charge us extra fees!

Had my nephews communion yesterday, absolutely fantastic day. Haven’t been out in a couple of years but the Fitzy family have gone to another in hospitality. Their staff are 5*. Super day. ……….,…………………….,,,,…………………………………..,…………………….

The Fitzgerald's Woodland House Hotel is a great space for families with young children. We met an Irish friend in the playground area of the hotel. They are kid rides, ice cream stands, and petting zoo in a kid friendly environment. A terrific place to spend an afternoon with young children.

Our 4th time returning to Woodlands adare. It just keeps getting better and better. Such a wonderful stay for our little family. The kids had an absolute ball. So much to offer for a family with young kids. The treehuts and food/ ice cream was a big hit with the little ones. The staff make this hotel, excellent customer service and genuine care for their guests. The most comfortable beds and netflix on the tv. Beautiful grounds. Thanks to the ladies in kids club for all the bracelet making and painting. You made my girls stay. Highly recommend to all. Thanks again and as always we will 100% be back..

We went to The Woodlands for Easter dinner. I honestly can't praise the staff enough. They went above and beyond to make sure our family was looked after. Our son, who can be quite a fussy eater, didn't like anything on the menu. One of the staff went out and bought wedges and fish fingers just for him. That kind of thoughtfulness is so rare these days and meant the world to us. The food was lovely, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service was genuinely exceptional. We were well taken care of from start to finish. A huge thank you to everyone at The Woodlands.

A neighbour recommended the hotel to me, and I truly could not fault it. We booked the hotel for a mini break because we were so stressed at work, and we wanted somewhere within easy reach of Galway with tourist attractions, but also had facilities for kids. We followed our morning routine: breakfast, swimming, then off on a spin somewhere, followed by visits to the pet farm, the playground, and pizza! The staff and the FitzGerald family should be proud of what they have created- it is a true testament to Irish hospitality. Clean , friendly and family orientated !
