MainStay Suites Addison-Dallas

Location is great. Building is old. Room is clean.

Great for business - unwind and go out to get a steak next door at outback or cook your own in the full kitchen.

Is a good place to stay in for one day .

I rented a room so I could enjoy the pool, but 90 minutes after I checked in and went to go enjoy the pool, I was told that it was out of service/unusable. It was disappointing to unpack all of my things and then hear this. The hotel was also poorly maintained, with really dirty carpet and walls, a broken bathroom door that didn't open right, etc. The woman at the front desk was friendly and did give me my money back, but I would not stay at this place again.

My spouse informed me he gotten bed bug bites and that he couldn’t wait to check out before telling me about his stay. There was stains on the couch but he didn’t notice until he got off the room number #116 he checked in Thursday 18th and checked out Friday before 11 am . Never booking here again that is just gross .

Staff was great and water pressure in the shower was great, but that place needs some serious work. I should've taken pictures. But, you get what you pay for, for about $65 a night you get some nasty carpet in need of a deep clean in the hallways and stairs, roaches in your room, the AC vents need deep cleaning, the AC never got to the temperature below 70 degrees, the toilet had a weird leak but the toilet worked, the shower head was disconnected from the wall but the pressure and temperature were great.

There was bugs at night and when you use the bathroom it was broken I almost fell and when you go downstairs in the morning you can only get two things

The first room we checked into had paint on the floor, and the second was infested with roaches. We did not stay there.

A roach crawled up my leg when I was sitting in the lobby waiting for them to do shift change so I could check in. There was no hot breakfast when we were booked to stay on 03/14/26, despite what ********** said. They only put out premade packages of muffins at the front desk, and they only told us this AFTER I checked in and asked where the breakfast was located. I handed the keys back and asked for a refund, and the front desk told me that I could get one but had to do it through **********, but when their customer support called the hotel I was told that their staff refused my refund, so now I'm waiting for a charge back on my card. Huge headache. You should spend slightly more and go with a much nicer hotel.
