The location was great, and the ventilation system worked really well, which made our stay comfortable. However, there were a few minor cleanliness issues. We noticed some small stains on the bed sheets, and there were a few visible bits of rubbish left on the floor when we arrived. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but a little more attention to cleaning would make the experience even better.

Hotel is really far from the centre of the city. Extremely loud as they always have parties there. Pool nothing like the pictures. Whatever you do don’t leave anything in the room as if you do. You won’t get contacted even though you tried to ring the reception multiple times and didn’t get through. In addition to this, they will act blind and will lie. If it wasn’t for a lovely guest who helped find it. I wouldn’t have found my belongings.

Very nice hotel with comfortable bed and pillows. There are a few restaurants nearby with delicious food. Will recommend for stay.

Pleasant hotel located near the city center. Tram station nearby with free fare to the city. Friendly and helpful staff. Small breakfast buffet with one free cup of coffee. To recommend

Hotel has good rooms that are modern and clean. Bar and drinks facilities really good. Restaurant food was really good. Great outdoor pool and relaxation area for those inclined. Highly recommend staying here with close location to inner city Adelaide

Hidden gem edge of the CBD. Very well refurbished older building with nice rooms, bar and amenities.

Stayed for an event just out of the city. It is in the process of being renovated. We liked the room and got taken care of. Room was nice and clean.

Don't miss this gem of a hotel! The balcony view is so amazing, I wanted to set up my camera and take pictures 24/7! Adelaide is a city of ever-changing colors, and during my three-day stay at Alba, I witnessed different sunrises and sunsets every day. The hotel's location is convenient; it's a 20-minute taxi ride to and from the airport, and bus and tram stops are within walking distance, making it easy for those without a car to get around. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, and honestly, they're some of the largest rooms I've stayed in in Australia. One even had a balcony – you could practically join an evening poolside party! The hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was fantastic. Although it didn't change much each day, the variety was amazing! 😏

I rarely write bad hotel reviews, but I have to this one. I came to Adelaide for the Australian Tourism Fair, and because Tourism Australia arranged for local Australian buyers to stay at this hotel, I didn't think much of it and booked it based on my trust in Tourism Australia. Upon checking in, I realized the location was rather remote, but thinking it would just mean getting up early, I didn't pay much attention. During check-in, the Indian staff at the front desk were very impatient with Chinese guests who didn't speak much English. But what I found most outrageous was that after I entered my room and was sitting on the toilet, an employee simply opened the door and stared me in the eye. When I later contacted Ctrip customer service about this, the hotel refused to acknowledge it. The next day, I requested a full refund, but the hotel refused outright. On the third day, when I went to attend the fair, I was informed that my room had been checked out and I was asked to go back and pack my luggage. Since I couldn't leave the venue, I had no choice but to ask the hotel to pack my luggage for me. When I went back to collect my luggage, all my clothes had been haphazardly stuffed into my suitcase. My suit and shirts were all crumpled and wrinkled. This is one of the few truly unpleasant hotel check-in experiences I've encountered in my more than twenty years of business travel. I will not only leave a negative review here, but I will also file a complaint with Tourism Australia.

Bring your own sleeping slippers and toothbrush. The location is very good.
