"For the price we paid to stay here we were not expecting much. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for 2 weeks. I seen previous reviews the apartments are up a hill this is not an issue there is a step down to a less steep hill to come up just after the car park. We had an issue with parking on the first day but after that we had none. The rooms are cleaned every second day. The location of Sfakaki is nice and quiet. It’s central for going around all the areas between Chania and Heraklion approx 1 hour to each. Rethymno is only 10 min drive away and Panoromos the same in the opposite direction. Both are lovely towns for swimming Panoromos was better if like calm water. We mostly ate in around Sfakaki and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. I need to mention the Vanilla cafe. We spent most evenings after dinner sitting on their sun loungers or tables watching the sunset. You can also sit here for the day on the sun loungers if you want. The walk back up is short approx 5 min and as I mentioned the hill is not that bad, tip take the road just before apartments road when walking back up and use the steps i mentioned. I need to mention the speed of the owner in solving a sink issue leakage we had. They had it rectified straight away, so kudos to him. Overall we’d an enjoyable stay and would stay again."

"Beautiful place with various free services such as tennis and swimming pool. However, we were treated very badly: when we arrived at the hotel we discovered that we had a room with two single beds and not a double bed like the one we had booked. We asked to be moved to another room but our target rooms were sold out. They were disinterested in helping us, not even putting the beds together and giving us a double sheet... no apologies and even embarrassed us. We then asked if we could at least postpone our check out and they said there was no problem, but the following day we were kicked out at lunch time. Nice place but staff to review…"

"Found this accommodation to be exactly as advertised, short walk to the beach, shops, supermarkets and the old town. It had everything I needed, the staff were wonderful special thanks to Alex and Genny on reception so helpful also my cleaner, room cleaned every day, bedding and towels changed every couple of days. They all went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, comfortable and safe. The only downside was the traffic noise due to the location on a busy junction but I adapted after a couple of nights. I would recommend this hotel. Big thanks to all the staff"

"Very friendly they couldn't do enough for there guests ,I asked for a bigger room which was done straight away without any problems, I also didn't have a kettle iny room ,I asked for one ,this was also taken care of promptly. food was very nice , cooked fresh every evening had good 3 courseeal every evening also good selection for breakfast, Pool bar was also open which was great for drinks round the pool and lunch Great place to relax and chill out on holiday"
