We had a great time ar Ydoria. Entertainment team lead by Rico was very energetic, with different shows each night. The food at the buffet was quite diverse and tasted very good. I would suggest opening the pools earlier than 10 and closing them after 6PM The beach close to the hotel și quite rocky, but a few km s away you can find sandy beaches. All the staff was very friendly and helpful, from checking in early to answering your every question. Overall a great stay, kudos for a good job for everyone there!

We stayed at Ydoria Resort near Rethymno and it was amazing. The hotel is clean, new and peaceful despite being near the road (don't let that discourage you!). Right near the hotel is a bus stop to Rethymno, the journey takes just 20 minutes. Food is delicious and there are a lot of choices to choose from, even traditional ones. There are a lot of activities for kids as well. The hotel complex was very clean, the cleaning staff was professional. Mrs. Mira took care of the cleanliness of our floor and room. We were extremely satisfied with her work. (Thank you Mira!!) The staff was polite and could answer all of our questions. We enjoyed our stay there and will for sure come again!! It was a good stay here. Hotel looks nice and clean, apparently was renovated just a couple of months before my stay. Selection of pools of different size and depths, waterslides, all good. Staff was very nice and friendly, I didn't have any issues. Amazing food at buffet, lots of things to choose from, I liked everything I tried there (and I tried a lot). I especially enjoyed desserts here, those were really great! At main AI bar there is a good selection of cocktails and some snacks and ice cream you can grab throughout the day. Also self-service soft drinks and coffee. Nearest beach however isn't great, definitely don't go in water without watershoes, and even then watch your step, as underwater terrain is very uneven and full of large rocks. Somewhat better beach is around 8 min walk towards Rethymno direction.

Had a wonderful time at the resort. Very clean with friendly staff. Food and drinks were plentiful and good. Although we didn't travel with children there are plenty of activities for them. Highly recommend this hotel

This is actually the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The bedroom/living area itself was OK but needed a deep clean and there was even crisps left on the floor from previous guests. The bathroom however was FILTHY. It was disgusting. Do not book!!!! The grounds of the hotel were also very grubby. From overgrown grass, limescale, mould, broken tiles and glass etc. I can’t believe this is rated as a 4* on some websites. I’ve stayed in nicer/cleaner 2* hotels in Benidorm.
