AQUILA RITHYMNA BEACH

As we head to our flight home , I thought we would share our thoughts on our 4th trip to this wonderful hotel, we stayed in Mythica room 86 Best part of this hotel are the staff who from morning to night work so hard to make the holiday fantastic , from Klio and her team in bar to the guys in a la carte restaurant , to main restaurant staff all are fantastic. Also Maria and Victoria in guest services who help along the way. Finally the staff in the spa - best massages ever especially the Cretan Massage - thank you One point I would make is to look at decor , the areas in corridors near spa area are a bright light white , but a lot of rooms where we were are still old dated terracotta - could do with brightening up inside , maybe one before you open next year ? Finally go all inclusive you can save so much money See you all next May for our 5th year

The hotel is well maintained, the staff is very nice and helpful, the food is very good. The rooms are clean and well maintained. However, I would not suggest choosing double rooms in the main building. Most of them have extra beds, which reduces the space of the room. It was difficult to ask for a double room with 2 beds. Michalis, who worked at the reception, lied to me, saying that all rooms have an extra bed. It turns out that there are rooms with 2 beds. It is not nice to lie to customers.

Thank you for another wonderful holiday. Was lovely to see all the lovely staff and enjoy the fabulous pool. We will be back again next year. We have recommended the hotel to all our friends.We have many holidays each year but this is the only hotel we keep coming back to.

The hotel is beautiful ,immaculate and tasteful. Staff were good and helpful, Maria customer relations was above and beyond. Spa excellent as were all facilities. A warning to less mobile guests about huge scale of ground, which are fabulous. Beach is huge but shingle with quite a dramatic dip into sea. Our only disappointment was the standard of food, great selection but hot food in particular was inadequate for a 5. Star hotel. Be aware that many items on menus are surcharged if you are premium all inclusive hotel guest.

Everything was excellent, very nicely designed resort , our bungalow was big and close to everything. Food was fantastic, a lot of healthy choices . Water was really cold , but that’s the nature of climate in May . Trips on the mountains and wild south breaches were fantastic . We will be back in no time

No instructions of what to do when arriving, I was disappointed as it says 5 stars but the room decor is so dated air conditioning didn’t work and my view was of an emergency exit door could hardly see the beach. At dinner time I sat at a table for 10 minutes believing that I was going to be served then realised it’s only buffet self service. The food was ok but definitely not al cart of which I was told , I paid all inclusive but the restaurant in the other part of the hotel was payable with a discount. Local beer and wine bad , milkshakes were nice Free soft drinks in the hotel rooms but snacks were charged I would give this at the most 2 stars and I was also bitten by mozzies which really ruined my stay even though I sprayed myself every day with repellent The gym was like a box room and to have a basic massage that’s another 90euros Beach bar was confusing as there are no menus I had to scan a code not really good if my roaming ran out Local drinks weren’t good I just don’t get it they are making so much money but don’t explain properly what’s included My opinion overrated My holiday representative was pretty unhelpful and it all seemed to much for her to help out in any way saying I have to approach the hotel staff if I had problems Also so many people smoking while trying to eat lunch there is no designated areas it seems I never complain when on holiday and have traveled around the world but this time it must be said that this experience was not a good one for me
