Stamos Hotel ★★★
"Easter at Aphytos. Clean, good beds, good food, very kind personnel and a beautiful view. We got the best room. Swimmingpool has cold water during april but is clean. Place is small, one church, school, few restaurants, very little beach, if you want to relax is perfect if you want discover to rent a car is must. 70 km from airport with no direct bus is a challange. Weather 14-19 degrees."
Casa Afytos - Adults Only ★★★
"Excellent stay at a lovely relaxing hotel. It was like having our own pool and villa as there are only a few rooms. Very close to the square for restaurants and bars which was lovely and authentic. We couldn’t have been made more welcome by the staff and the owner of the hotel from the maids to the lady who prepared our breakfast every morning. With lots of recommendations for food and trips and even to the owners village for dinner and drinks. It was an amazing stay."
Achtis Hotel ★★★★
"This hotel is amazing from start to finish. It is a tranquil oasis where you feel like a VIP. I am a very fussy person and usually find things I don’t like. Honestly it was all perfect, the staff are amazing and make you feel so welcome. I love that you don’t have to pay for drinks each time you order but it’s charged to your room. We had a family room for 2 of us and it was really big and had everything we needed. Super comfy beds and very quiet. Gorgeous breakfast, cocktails and food. The village is about 8 minutes walk but there is a steep hill to navigate. I have mobility issues and managed it (just) but taxis are an available which we also used. The hotel has now changed to half board, we were B&B which suited us. Others were half board and said the food was lovely. No sunbed wars it’s a strict policy that you only put your towel down after breakfast and remove it if you are not using it. Never had an issue getting a sunbed which are super comfortable. The pool is accessible by graduated steps with a grab rail. One end is extremely deep but the other end perfect. Air conditioning for me was not quite cool enough and you could not alter the temperature but it was perfect for my husband. We both want to return but due to it now being half board we sadly won’t return as the price for next year is a lot more expensive. Great if you are happy with half board but there were many guests like us who said the same and want B&B. I really miss the hotel and so wish we were back. We have never had such a fabulous hotel. Just wish it stayed at B&B"
Lagaria Hotel ★★★★
"I cannot say enough positives about this hotel. We stayed on a b&b basis for one week in late August. We had a very large room with a good size balcony and plenty of space in the room including a safe and mini bar/fridge. Breakfast was a good mix of hot and cold foods in a nice light airy setting. The pool area was particularly amazing as some days we had the place pratically to ourselves. Sunbeds were nice and comfortable too and you never had to scramble for one even if you been out for the day. 10 minute walk into the local village which is beautiful and has a gret selection of bars, restaurants, tourist shops, boutiques and a couple of mini-marts. Never had a bad meal in the whole place. The beach is a bit further away down quite a steep slope but we we are pool people anyway so that didn't bother us. We also did a day trip into Thessaloniki with Jet2 Holidays and that was really interesting with plenty to see and do. Pool area was looked after very well by the staff who worked hard throughout the whole day looking after their guests. Would thoroughly recommend this place - wish I was there now !"
Stratos Hotel ★★★
"just come back from the Stratos and what an amazing find Stella at the helm and Anastasia making sure everything was perfect all day long i even caught the cleaners wiping down light bulbs and up a ladder cleaning the top of the fridge in the bar such is the cleanliness of this place great place and very personal service nothing was too much trouble cant wait to get back there thanks to all the staff for making it an unbelievable stay"
Rigas Boutique Hotel & Spa ★★★★
"The hotel is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the village with its vast variety of restaurants and bars. Once we checked in ,our luggage was taken to our room and we were shown the bar where we were given complimentary glass of fizz.(a very nice touch) The room had a large balcony with amazing views. There was a large comfortable bed, fridge, kettle, iron and ironing board. The only downside with the room was the bathroom and it's unusual layout with the hand basin in the bedroom and shower and toilet in the bathroom, which was quite dark. The young staff very amazing very friendly ,chatty and professional. The pool area was kept very clean and there was never a problem getting a bed no matter how late we went down. Breakfasts were excellent with an extensive choice, the breakfast room was light and airy, again with fantastic views. Although we were B&B we did use the hotel restaurant a couple of times for lunch and dinner. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. Would definitely recommend this hotel."
Lagaria Apartments ★★★★
Elia Apartments ★★★
"2 weeks in Afytos as guests at this residence. Place is welcoming. Location strategic, near to the beach and also the center. Clean flat, even though bathroom was not large enough and burners of kitchen not modern (too slow to warm up). Nice swimming pool. Staff very gente. A good stay as a whole."
