Read a lot of negative reviews before we arrived and a lot of the positive ones … from first time contributors, speaking marketing language… you fooled no one But we have to be fair and we will say our bit The hotel is lovely, we got a villa with a private pool, a lovely upgrade from the junior suite and it’s beautiful. The views are amazing, truly breathtaking (as the other review states) the room is superb and flawless. The hotel has lots on offer, the staff are really friendly and attentive but it’s not a 5*. It’s got everything to be a 5* but there just aren’t enough people to make it happen, they aren’t focused on the customer experience, the ones here try but like I said, there aren’t enough. Every truly 5 star place I’ve been the staff don’t let you raise a finger, there is no mess, as soon as you put a drink down it’s been taken, and that’s just not the vibe here. Every table has old glasses on it, and wasps attacking. Don’t get me wrong, this is a fabulous place and honestly the staff are great, there just isn’t enough of them. Negatives- We are day 3 and I’m already bored of the food. It’s good quality and again it’s clean and well organised, it’s just meh. Just meh. Even the a la carte was the same. Only way to describe this, is 5* hotel, 4* service, 3* food It’s what I imagine turkey 5 star to be. I genuinely recommend, we are having a great time, I paid £6.5k for a week and it’s feeling just a little expensive for that. Don’t take this as a negative, it’s a great place and we are having a lovely time, and I’d recommend, just manage your expectations
