Domes of Elounda, Autograph Collection

Eleni and the child care team are exceptional and will allow adults time to actually have a holiday!!! They are one of the main things that has made our holiday at domes so special. We pre booked our 2 boys age 4 and 6yrs into the kids club every other day with very low expectations that they were likely to protest going to kids club, as lots of children often do. They went into the first session reluctant but the team made them feel at ease. The following morning my son actually said to me ‘mummy can we PLEASE go to kids club today, we loved it!’ Those are the words every parent wants to hear on holiday. So we booked them in every afternoon and it has become one of the highlights of their day and holiday. We are still at Domes at the moment, but I wanted to thank Eleni and her team for allowing my husband and I to actually have a holiday. We sit by the pool in peace every afternoon and read and chat, which for any parent with young children, they will know how precious this is. Thank you again Eleni and the child care team at domes, you’ve been amazing!!! I will write another review about Domes of Elounda as a whole when our holiday is finished.

I stayed in the facility for 5 nights with my family and honestly, it couldn’t have been any better! Our room was located on top of the hill so we had an amazing view and a great pool for the kids to swim at. All of the restaurants were fantastic, amazing service and lovely food. Our favorite restaurant was Blend (we highly recommend the steaks!!) and Villebrequin. Me and my sister tried the spa therapies and I have to say - one of the best treatments we’ve ever had! All of the ladies at kids club were amazing, and the kids absolutely loved them. The haute living section was a great touch, we went there every evening to enjoy a glass of wine and all the snacks. Theres nothing bad I can say about this amazing resort, everyone there was super helpful!!

I feel this hotel is a 4 star at the best Room smell of fowl waste staff arguing no or little haute living . Honestly don’t waste your money like I have The manager has been great but can’t do anything as it’s awful £13750.00 wasted. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

I just had the pleasure of spending 10 nights at the Domes of Elounda and could not be happier with our experience. The hotel in itself is beautiful, but the staff really go above and beyond to create an exceptional experience. We want to leave a special commendation to Dimitris, our dedicated concierge. Dimitris was very attentive, kind and with an incredible skill to really exceed any expectations we had. We had a small issue with the original room we were given, but very quickly Dimitris sorted it out for us. As a result, we only have positive things to mention. For example, the food in the hotel is delicious. We mostly ate at Tholos (the buffet restaurant), but we also tried all the other outlets and the food was always spot on. At Tholos we were welcomed every morning by the wonderful Yulia and the very friendly Georgia and Erofil. These are only a few of the superstars that work in this hotel. In the evenings, we need to mention the fantastic Georgios who always had a smile on. We celebrated a birthday at Makris and.. wow! The food is delicious and the presentation worthy of an Art Gallery. We also cannot forget to mention the charming and exquisite sommelier Anna and the restaurant manager Georgios as well as everyone else that helped making that evening so special (sorry we didn’t write down everyone’s name, but it was a brilliant team!) My absolute favorite member of staff was our kind, charming and thoughtful Majilinda who look after our room every evening, bringing fresh towels and chocolate and being absolutely wonderful. I also want to leave a mention to the super attentive and friendly Alexandros, the Rooms Division Manager and also Stella, for looking after us so well. I would also be remiss without mentioning Maria and Pavos from room service and all the members of staff who ran up and down the steps to bring us our orders. We also did some shopping at Core and Silia was so helpful and funny! Thank you for dealing with us on that evening!! And thank you Ellie from the front desk team for all your help!! I am sorry for all the amazing people I did not mention. You were all fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel for both a couple or family holiday. The location on Elounda Bay is fantastic. The beach is wonderful, with warm and calm sea, and the beautiful sound of cicadas. Thank you for having us.

I booked into this hotel last minute after a bad experience at another hotel. I realized quickly that my unlucky experience was a blessing in disguise. In Domes Elounda, I believe I have found heaven on earth. I couldn't recommend this hotel more. The location and view of the azure blue waters is the first thing that took my breath away, but the shallow beach (in between two islands) makes it ideal for the experienced and novice alike. The facilities are modern, polished and clean, and yet retain character with wood and organic elements. What sets this hotel apart is its staff, which operate as a family and make you feel a part of one. From the cooking lesson with expert chef Kostas (I learned how to make a delectable Greek salad with a secret recipe from his grandmother), to the Spa (where I was expertly guided by Marianna and graced with an incredibly relaxing massage from Nina and scrub by Vaso), to all the attentive and kind reception staff, I did not have one interaction that was less than exceptional. The food was top notch, and the Core restaurant was innovative and an incredibly special experience. The tiramisu is to die for! This is a large resort with enough variety to keep things interesting during a longer stay. I will definitely be back!

My family of 4 (13 and 10 year old) had the most amazing stay at the Domes of Elounda. This property is an absolute GEM and was the most amazing place to start our 12 day vacation in Greece. First off, the location (although an hour drive from HER) is incredible. The property has everything you need but if you want to venture out, there are plenty of day trips one can do from this location. We loved staying at the property but also enjoyed strolls around Agios Nikolaos and the Marina at night. The staff at Domes went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and were enjoying our stay. From Dimitris at Guest services to our amazing housekeeper and all of the wondering cart drivers. Everyone was incredibly helpful, warm and genuinely wanted to make sure the guests felt comfortable, relaxed and happy. I honestly felt like I was saying goodbye to family when I left. The location is gorgeous and this property has everything one would need for a perfect vacation. It has a private beach, relaxing adult pool area, huge kids pool area (very separate from adult pool). The rooms are very clean. The food at the restaurants (including the buffets) are excellent. Everything is kept very clean and the food is fresh. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel. The only thing to think about is the distance from the airport and port. It is a good hour away from the airport and port. We rented a car which made everything a lot easier. I would definitely recommend a car rental. Budget/Avis is the first thing you see walking thru the HER terminal but there are several other car rental companies there as well. Note: we were able to rent an Avis car from HER airport and return it at the port which made things a lot easier for an early ferry ride! All in all, Crete is gorgeous and if you’re thinking of staying at the Domes of Elounda, you won’t regret it.
