Max Guest House

We arrived to Delhi and it was very negative. We didn't find the hotel which we have booked and payed online with Booking: it didn't exist! We met many crooks in the worst place of the city who drove us into many scams. Then we looked for Max Guesthouse and we arrived in Agra. Max is a very kindly and friendly person and he is especially polite and honest. His guesthouse is very beautiful clear and quite and he helped us to organize our trip and all our jorney in the other cities. Thanks to Max.

Great stay with this accommodation. They have everything whatever you needed. Tajmahal is 1 km from here. Easy to take tuk tuk. Local restaurants nearby

I booked with Max Guest House because of the good reviews and also a competitive price for what seemed like a well located guest house near to the Taj Mahal. It turned out to be a great decision as not only was the accommodation exactly as per the good reviews but, even better, the owner Max could not have been more helpful from the second we arrived. We knew immediately that we could trust the advice Max gave us and as first time visitors to India his help was invaluable. Not knowing that trains needed to be booked well in advance Max arranged at short notice through his company for a taxi to take us on a 5 hour trip to Ranthambore at a cost of just £55. The driver was first class, safe in his driving and polite and because of our confidence in Max we subsequently arranged all of our long taxi journeys on our tour of India with Max. In summary; Max is exactly the type of person you want and need when travelling to a foreign country like India where you need advice and help you can trust and rely on.

Max’s Guest House really restored my faith in hospitality. Max was super kind and communicative, even when my travel plans got totally messed up. I missed my train in Delhi, nearly got scammed, and didn’t end up arriving in Agra until almost midnight instead of my original 6pm. Even so, Max stayed up to welcome me, which I seriously appreciated. And when I told him I hadn’t eaten all day, he made me a warm, fresh dosa so I didn’t have to go to bed hungry. The room was beautiful and amazing value for the price. The whole vibe of the place was peaceful and welcoming. If you’re looking for a stay with a host who genuinely cares, this is the spot.

Max accommodation is really good clean and very nice he help me with everything for my stay. Room is super nice and he also offer me good room at good price. Mattress is good and comfortable. Bathroom is private with good shower area. He also offer me late check out
