Hotel Mare

The positive sides are: The cuisine is good, but it would be the opposite, Cilento is also renowned for this; another positive thing is the large swimming pool with a comfortable handrail, but all without swimming caps there was no control over this thing... Negative sides: Mattress/s (surely they were 2 singles attached and not a double) bad quality, old, with dips in the night when turning around there was the risk of ending up on the ground, every morning we woke up with back pain ... The rooms are not soundproofed in the least, you can hear everything. The breakfast was not the best, the croissants never fragrant, limp and it is strange since we went down early, the cakes were saved ... I also understand that it was a buffet, but at least the hot drinks as well as preparing them would be nice and then serving them at the table . The hotel offers half board for dinner with the possibility of having lunch at the kiosk by the pool with cold dishes such as sandwiches and a dish of the day from the kitchen but the prices were certainly not reasonable, light lunches only in name, not in fact!! The cleaning of the room could be better since there is no daily change of towels (which by the way is meaningless) Another thing that I really didn't like is that you couldn't pay directly for extra drinks, but you you found them charged in the room and even to get a bottle of water or a coffee you had to sign a receipt, but wouldn't it be more convenient to let the customer choose? I honestly don't think I will ever go back to this hotel, it is expensive compared to the quality of the services offered.

Fantastic place, excellent location, excellent cuisine, from abundant and varied breakfast, to lunch and dinner, with excellent cuisine, a wonderful experience to repeat, ideal for families with children and for couples ... I hope to be back soon

I stayed in this hotel for one night only, having to return home for a family problem. The structure is pleasant and a few steps from the seafront. The interiors are cared for. To have an umbrella and two sunbeds on the nearby beach we had to book at a local lido for a cost of € 50.00 for two days. (the beach of this lido is full of bathers.. other than distancing) . The swimming pool is well cared for and each room is given an umbrella with two sunbeds. The food is good and the staff is attentive.

Stay from 21st to 27th August with my wife and 3 small children. Hotel close to the sea even if, unfortunately, the latter is not practicable for small children, as the only access is through a wooden structure organized with umbrellas and sunbeds for hotel guests (but to be paid separately if used) which overlooks a beach of medium-large pebbles. If I may say, the only downside of the structure. I had a standard quadruple room with balcony, good and very clean. Between the sea and the hotel there is a very well structured swimming pool, very well cleaned and cared for, with very pleasant shaded areas, full of greenery and very well equipped, not only with a bar/snack but also with a baby food corner, very useful for those with small children, also because it is very equipped, in short, it is decidedly pleasant to spend the days in the swimming pool. Good cuisine with attention to the dishes (some from photos), but the pride and joy is the cleaning and table service, really high quality and very professional. Last but absolutely not least, the great availability and kindness of the receptionists: Loredana and Alessia. Highly recommended.

Piacevole scoperta sul mare con una vista incantevole mozzafiato con la quale risvegliarsi ogni mattina non ha prezzo, la piscina a filo con scale interne di discesa bella grande e il lido con la pedana di legno per l'accesso diretto marino sue due file (necessarie scarpette per l'immersione), staff gentile e cucina all'altezza locale, bagni più o meno nuovi a seconda delle richieste ed esigenze, aria condizionata, frigobar, terrazza per la colazione, servizio bar in piscina, ottima città che offre molto e ben collegata tra bus e treno alla stazione diretta, un peccato andarsene!.

L'hotel ha un grande potenziale, ma purtroppo non viene sfruttato al massimo. La struttura è situata in una posizione davvero strategica, direttamente sul mare e a breve distanza dal centro città. Uno dei punti di forza è sicuramente la splendida piscina, adatta sia agli adulti che ai bambini, e probabilmente il vero fiore all’occhiello dell'hotel. Un altro aspetto positivo è il bar situato presso la piscina, che si è rivelato molto comodo, sia per pranzare che per trascorrere momenti di relax giocando a carte. Inoltre, una nota di merito va all'attenzione riservata ai celiaci, che hanno trovato opzioni adatte alle loro esigenze alimentari. Tuttavia, nonostante la posizione privilegiata sul mare, l’hotel non offre una vera e propria spiaggia, bensì una piattaforma con discesa a mare che si è rivelata per noi poco pratica. Consigliamo vivamente di non prenotare in anticipo il servizio spiaggia (errore che abbiamo commesso noi), ma di valutarlo direttamente in loco per rendersi conto della situazione. La pulizia della stanza è stata deludente. All'arrivo, abbiamo trovato peli in bagno, polvere ed un elastico per capelli dietro la scrivania ad indicare che non era stata spostata per eseguire la pulizia. Anche la pulizia giornaliera è stata eseguita in modo approssimativo, con polvere visibile sul davanzale della finestra e sui comodini. Per quanto riguarda la cucina, possiamo definirla semplicemente sufficiente. La colazione, sebbene abbondante e variegata tra dolce e salato, ha presentato più volte cornetti bruciati. Il pranzo e la cena, invece, hanno offerto alcuni piatti decisamente buoni, ma altri appena sufficenti. Infine, il personale dell’hotel è composto principalmente da giovani, spesso poco esperti. In diverse occasioni abbiamo chiesto chiarimenti sul menù senza ottenere risposte soddisfacenti. Tuttavia, una nota positiva va a Nicol e Giovanni, che nonostante la loro giovane età, si sono dimostrati gentili e competenti nel loro lavoro. In conclusione nonostante abbiamo fatto una ottima vacanza, riteniamo che il rapporto qualità prezzo non sia adeguato. 'Le piccole accortenze fanno la differenza'.
