The Golden Tulip chain of hotels renovated this venue a couple of months ago, and created a very efficient, modern and comfortable hotel, very suitable for business and en-route stays. It's located next to the autoroute from Aix-en-Provence to Lyon. Downtown Aix is about a 10 mins. drive. The beds (as in all Golden Tulip hotels) are amongst the most comfortable we've ever slept in! Bathroom modern and efficient. The staff consist of mostly young, enthusiastic people with a modern attitude to service. Definitely a hotel that differs itself positively from the standard en-route French hotel-style! The restaurant should be upgraded somewhat. The menu is limited and as downtown is a bit out, guests should be able to have a bit more choice in the menu.

This was the best place we stayed in Provence. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was beautiful and had a bath and a private terrace. The staff were so friendly and professional. Nothing was a problem. Some reviews said it was too far from the town centre but we found the location excellent and it was very quiet at night. We are used to walking.

I would not recommend this hotel. -Hard to find -Far from city center ($15 euro Uber each way) -no face cloths provided -only one small roll of toilet paper provided (and a half used one) -soap dispensers almost empty -no hair dryer -air conditioner didn’t work -did not allow early check in -stains on walls -broken glass in the cupboard -cobwebs -moldy shower curtain -shower handle was broken and didn’t stay on the holder -They charge $7 per clean (daily clean is not included!!) These are the reasons I would not stay again or recommend staying. This hotel needs improvement and care. The positives: -Staff are nice -Bed was comfortable -Free street parking out front or just $5 underground

For the positive points: - the room was large and pleasant (suite). - the environment in the pine was quiet. - easy parking - right breakfast For negative points (unfortunately ...): - invasion of furnaces in the living area of our suite - the naturally filtered swimming pool has not packed us at all (green color and algae) and no shadow by 40 degrees. - We had asked to pay in ANCV checks at the arrival but the hotel debited us the amount of the room on our CB. - service completely to revis... I forgot a clothing in the room. I've called only a few hours after our departure. I've had several speakers for three days. I had to remember, but a young man, apart from Sunday night, I am disappointed because it seems to me that a 4-star hotel still needs to offer a certain standing to the clients. I asked to be reminded by a responsible. I'm still waiting... What a pity!

Lovely hotel - rooms dotted around within a hillside woodland. Great restaurant - lots of nice areas for sitting and enjoying the ambiance….. highly recommended! On booking.com it said “no parking” but there’s ample parking in several areas and totally secure. I really loved staying here and will certainly return.
