Aizu Tsuruya Hotel Reviews

The room was clean and spacious, but it only had a toilet inside. The shower facilities were located outside the room in a communal bathhouse. The women's bath was private, while the men's bath was shared. There's also a laundry room with washers and dryers, a microwave, and vending machines. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Everything is nice except for 2 things. Firstly, the women bathroom is too small and too limited. People need to queue up which is different from men bathroom. Secondly, the money exchange (from 1000 Yen banknote to 100 yen coin). I put in 1000 cash but I only got 950 yen coin back. I tried to raised this concern to the staff. They said it is impossible and they did not responsible for this incident. Please be careful when you want to put your cash in the money changer machine.

The hotel was clean and good. I like the concept of taking of the shoes at the front desk to switch to slippers throughout the hotel. Just to note the 20 min walk from the station to the hotel (but is an easy walk down a straight road) and actually from the hotel is also only 20 mins walk to the tsurago castle so super convenient if you are visiting the castle as well.

It's conveniently located in Nanokamachi, a town with many old streets. The building is old, but it's been renovated and is well-maintained, so I had a pleasant stay. It's a ryokan-style hotel where you take off your shoes and put on slippers at the entrance. I booked a room with a bath in each room, but there is also a shared bath and sauna.

The buildings and facilities are very old, but it is located in the center of the city, making it convenient for sightseeing and shopping. The guests are more likely to be construction workers and other local workers than tourists. There are many great Aizu products around the inn that can only be seen and eaten locally, such as winter huts and unfamiliar persimmons.

It's close to Nanakamachi. The room is small. You have to go to a public bathhouse to take a shower. There is a coffee machine on the first floor. I don't have time to try it. There are 3.4 types. You need to change your shoes when entering and exiting. There is a 7-11 and an izakaya sushi restaurant nearby.

The hotel was clean and very comfortable. There are restaurants nearby where you can eat Aizuwakamatsu specialty horse meat. The price was reasonable, so I would like to use it again.

It is close to Nanukamachi Station, and there are convenience stores and landmarks such as Noguchi Hideyo Seinenkan within a 5-minute walk, which is very convenient. The hotel staff is very friendly, the room is just the right size for three people, and the facilities are very clean and hygienic.

Since this was a sudden trip, I had little time to find a place to stay in Aizuwakamatsu. Although it is not a restaurant I would consider, it is a more traditional Japanese restaurant. He is really good and it is also a good accommodation experience

The hotel is old, but it is well-maintained and clean. The staff were also very kind.
