Aizu Wakamatsu isn't a large city, and the hotel is conveniently located not far from the station – just a few minutes by taxi. It's a quiet and peaceful town, which was very pleasant. The hotel room was quite spacious, and they have a public bath, which was wonderful for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was also good! 👍 The front desk staff were very polite and even helped us book a taxi. 🚕

The location is far from Nikko, located on the mountain. The lobby has been updated but the rooms were kinda out dated. Dinner and breakfast were very unique experience. The quality is ok as similar to other onsen style hotel. We still enjoyed it. The late night noodles snack was great.

I stayed for two nights. It was a little far from the station, but there was a supermarket right next door, so I was able to get cheap drinks and dinner, which was great.
