Kanhaia Haveli ★★
"We booked three rooms well in advance (around 2 months before arrival). owner asked for confirmation, and received it. However, when we arrived at hotel, he informed us in a very straightforward, unapologetic manner that he could not give us the three rooms we've booked for the two nights, so we will have to move to another hotel of his, unregistered and unrecognized on any site (we checked) which has none of the facilities advertised for this one (no court, no charm, no dinning area, nothing). The whole exchange was almost violent, with owner very rude and pushy. it was only after we bluntly demanded a discount on rate we committed to pay for the Kanhaia, that he agreed. All in all, we had a very unpleasant experience and do not recommend the place."

Gulaab Niwaas Palace
"Incredible stay was had. Professional and welcoming staff, gorgeous grounds, big cold pool, beautiful views, probably the best food we’ve had all trip in India - both the Indian food available & the wide range of western food available which I really needed due to having gut issues. The chef La La Jam deserves acknowledgement in that! And Mukesh Rawat provided great service to us. The beds are soft and comfortable and have duvets/doona’s which we loved as that can be rare to come across in India for accommodation. Probably had the best sleep here that we’ve had all trip. The women and men who maintain the grounds throughout the day are so friendly and warming - we felt so welcome and looked after. We leave tomorrow & just wish we could have stay longer!!!"

Hotel Kothi Pushkar
"We stayed in the room with garden view located at the back of the property. The room was well equipped, clean and hot water was easily available. It was nice to have access to the garden for a peaceful escape from the busy streets. Breakfast was included in our stay and was very filling and tasty, Western and Indian options available, the art cafe on site is open all day and has some delicious food. Location of the hotel is ideal, 1 minute walk from Brahma temple and the market. All staff were helpful and friendly but especially Dharma who looked after us, he was extremely welcoming and incredibly warm and genuine throughout our stay. We walked to Shri Sivitri Temple twice with Dharma for sunrise and it was the highlight of our time in Pushkar. Overall the value for money in this hotel is great as the room is affordable with a high standard of service. Highly recommend anyone coming to Pushkar to stay here!"
