I made a reservation to enjoy the winter festival in Akita. You can enjoy a pleasant breakfast with a good view. It makes me think that the ANA hotel is delicious with juice and coffee.

Room was very nice and fairly spacious. The hotel breakfast was top notch with all the akita specialties, a western selection and a salad bar. Close to various attractions, and the front desk is happy to help with restaurant recommendations if you need it. Location is absolutely perfect being linked to Akita station.

Book because it is the best city hotel in Akita called the guest house in Akita. The bus from the airport is just off Kiuchi-mae. Walking distance from Akita station. Since there is no concierge, there was a little inconvenience in making restaurant reservations I asked the front desk staff. The hotel location is a little far from the station. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is buffet style and has a variety of local dishes, so it's very satisfying.

This hotel is near to the station and right above a Lawsons. Room is nothing to shout home about, small and clean. In fact I felt it was a bit smaller than what I'd usually expect from a Japanese hotel, and the air had the faintest tinge of smoke in the air despite this being a no smoking room. Still, beds were comfy and all necessary amenities were provided. The breakfast was appreciated, but can be crowded. There's a good mix of Japanese and Western options, and constant free flow of coffee/tea in the common area.

To be honest, I was planning to stay at another hotel, but there was no vacancy and there was a vacancy in front of Richmond Hotel Akita Station, so I made a reservation and stayed there. The answer was correct because there was no vacancy in another hotel. Service, cleanliness, etc. were ”very good”.
