The breakfast is very rich, the room type is OK, the bedding is poor, easy to shake, the mattress is soft, the environment is quiet, but the location is extremely remote, it is not easy to take a taxi, you have to walk 1 to 2 kilometers on a dusty country road, the waiter is very attentive, but Without telling you the cost in advance, juice is twice as expensive as outside.

We had a fantastic stay at Jewel Carter Hotel in Luxor. The location is absolutely perfect – right by the Nile with the possibility to take a small boat across to the East Bank, which was a magical experience in itself. It’s also the ideal starting point for exploring everything Luxor has to offer, including the Valley of the Kings and the Karnak and Luxor temples. The hotel has a truly local charm. Much of the food served is grown on-site, which gives everything a fresh and authentic touch. The service is outstanding – the staff are incredibly warm, helpful, and attentive to every detail. Our room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and came with strong Wi-Fi – which was much appreciated when traveling as a family. If you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly base with genuine Egyptian hospitality and a great location, this is the place to stay in Luxor. We can’t wait to come back!

Incredible stay. All people have been very keen, gentle and welcoming. Service top! Nice swimming pool. We spend 4 days and we easily decided to have dinner every night there. Restaurant is also largely above others. The location is also amazing even if not in the most touristic area: close to the Nile, in a green and quite area, they have their own garden to grew fruit and vegetables

We visited this gem with our two boys aged 8 and 11 and had a very nice three days. Ideal hotel to recover from a visit to the temples. Lovely pool for the children to play in for hours. Very friendly staff, nothing is impossible. Definitely recommended!

The hotel is overall great - clean, comfortable, located in a quiet area at the West Bank, very good breakfast served on the terrace offering a nice view. What sets it apart, however, is the amazing people working there. The receptionists are very polite and helpful, and the taxi driver working for the hotel is exceptional - he really outdid himself on two separate occasions to make sure we make it on time. I can only recommend this place to anyone who visits Luxor.

We had a really pleasant stay in this simple hotel in Luxor. The staff was super helpful and nice. The hotel can arrange for you a taxi to take you to the valley of the kings which is really close by and to Luxor and Karnak temples. The food is not great but there is much around the hotel. The ambiance in the patio is nice enough to have a pleasant dinner. Breakfast is very generous. We were very pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the rooms were given the price. Highly recommended for families.

The chef in this hotel is top notch….The food is bursting with delicate and delicious flavours…all the veg is grown here in their lush organic garden. I’m very fussy with food and so far this is the best I have eaten in Egypt. I had the set menu with grilled seabass in lemon butter sauce and it was cooked to melt in the mouth perfection. Plenty of veggie options too….the moussaka is also superb…The restaurant also has wonderful ambience…outdoors overlooking the pool and Nile in the distance with a beautiful hand carved wooden pergola and choice of normal or sofa seating ….Its definately worth the slightly higher price tag….Im here for a few weeks in Luxor and will be eating dinner here in a regular basis…Compliments to the Howard Carter chef!
