"Stayed in August, beautiful location and pool. There was a big storm and after that we had no electricity for a day and no or almost no water in our room for the next 3 days. Management didn't seem very bothered, and we had to keep going to reception to find out what was happening until after 3 days a notice went up. I noticed small but meaningful enhancements in hospitality, comfort, and guest experience compared to my previous visit – a sign of a team committed to evolving and exceeding expectations. The atmosphere here is one of pure tranquility. The thoughtfully designed spaces invite you to slow down, disconnect, and immerse yourself in the calm of the surroundings. "We returned to this family friendly hotel for a 2nd time as grandparents with the grandchildren returning for a fourth consecutive visit. ALL the staff are very friendly and helpful in all areas. Food had plenty of variety in both restaurants with the children loving the idea of serving themselves. Rooms are well equipped with a free safe included.My only disappointment was the mattress - too soft.The room was cleaned every day. Pools were great with the large one heated with lots of sunbeds available.The small pirate pool opened at 10am and filled up quickly and was not heated.There is a new splashpad in kiko land which opens twice per day. Bars have a great choice of drinks for ai guests with ice cream and lollies readily available. All the areas in the hotel are immaculately clean but be careful on the many tiled floors if it rains. Outside in son bou there are three or four bars and restaurants and was very quiet in may.The beach is a lovely sandy one with lifegaurds on duty. Overall we would not hesitate to return again next year.Highly recommend if you have young children ie up to ten years of age"

Then we had to stand queueing because of build up of guess. Restaurant, 9 times out of 10 food not hot enough,many times just left it. Staff in restaurant work really hard. Last time we stayed here, many years ago,when it was a proper Restaurant up stairs food was excellent.Grounds and pools are excellent,kept beautiful.Staff do your hotel credit.Just work on the bar."

The Menorca experience is clearly overrated, there is not much to do in this island after your third or fourth day there."

"We stayed at Llucasaldent, perfectly nestled between Son Bou and Alaior, with a group of 20 friends for a week — and it was, without question, one of the most amazing experiences of our lives. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless and special. Cristina greeted all 20 of us with warmth and professionalism, and our luggage was taken directly to our rooms. The first impression was pure awe — the villa is one of a kind. The views stretch endlessly across the island, and the property feels both luxurious and peaceful in a way that’s hard to find anywhere, especially coming from the U.S. The villa itself is immaculate — every room was spotless and beautifully designed. There are multiple cozy lounge areas (including hidden cave nooks!), two gorgeous pools with incredible island views, and plenty of space for everyone to relax together or find quiet moments alone. It’s rare to find a property that can handle such a large group so seamlessly, but Llucasaldent truly exceeded every expectation. The food and dining experience deserve their own paragraph. Breakfast was an absolute highlight every single day, and the dinners were just as memorable — varied, flavorful, and beautifully presented. On our final evening, we requested a BBQ dinner, and it turned out to be one of the best meals any of us have ever had. The staff — Cristina, Ben, and Antoinette — were absolute stars. Their kindness, patience, and constant smiles made us feel at home from start to finish. They handled our (admittedly lively!) group with total grace and good humor, organizing taxis, groceries, and anything else we could have needed. Their hospitality was 11/10. The villa worked perfectly for 20 guests — spacious enough for group breakfasts, games, and pool days, yet intimate enough that we always felt connected. Some of our favorite memories from the trip were simply sitting together at breakfast, lounging by the pool, and laughing late into the night surrounded by Menorca’s quiet beauty. If you’re even considering a trip to Menorca — BOOK THIS VILLA. Whether it’s two people or twenty, this place is pure paradise. It’s luxurious, peaceful, and truly special — the kind of property that defines what a perfect vacation should feel like. 100/100. Zero negative notes. Just unforgettable memories. ❤️"

"We loved our stay here, and anywhere that is looked after by Menorca Rentals is our go to place! Great villa, huge pool. Clean and tidy and well located. The hill didn’t bother us, we had a car but also walked down to the resort and back each night. It is at the top of Torre Soli Nou by the Valentin hotel but there are stairs or the hill as a walking option. Great facilities, fantastic experience with Menorca rentals and will probably stay again :)"

"I was worried about our stay due to all the negative reviews but had nothing to worry about. We stayed here 10 years ago and our return visit was different but we had a lovely time. Since our previous visit the mushroom in the pool no longer works, the water slides have all shut down, the main pool is closed, the main restaurant is closed, no longer any evening entertainment and you now have to pay to use a sun lounger!! We stayed apt 9 by gondalas by reception and the apt was lovely, clean, everything in working order, washing machine, really good air con etc. we paid for sun loungers the first day at the pool behind reception but didn’t bother after that - we never got asked. The sun loungers have seen better days and very uncomfortable. We found the beach club pool further along which is much nicer and well looked after and cleaned but they do ask for payment every time there. Ice creams, drinks and on site super market are expensive. There’s a cheaper one further along by all the restaurants. The beach is crystal clear, one of the best beaches I’ve ever seen. They charge €25 for sun loungers though!! Despite a few niggles it was a great holiday and I would return. Ps - the chickens did wake us up around 4am most mornings."
