Bluesea Playa Azul ★★★
"Just returned from a 6 night stay, we were in room 022 which at 1st we were a bit disappointed with as we would have liked a high floor, but we couldn't fault the room..nice big veranda.. a airer or line to dry your towels would have been nice but not a big issue, aircon was good, fridge worked well, bathroom fine..people have been complaining about the food in other reviews but we found it fine, plenty of cereals ,cold meats ,salads. We only ate breakfast and occasionally lunch, as so many places in the village to eat on an evening. The pool area is clean, no need to worry about getting a lounger if wanted. Regarding the €1 deposit on cups, it makes sense as it means people don't just leave them to blow around when finished, the slabs clunking on other reviews really aren't a problem unless you're looking for one! The tables outside could do with a wipe more often but not a big issue, the veiw is well worth it. People mention no snacks, but you can help yourselves to pastries and fruit if needed between meals.didnt interact with staff much but they all seem pleasant.. its worth noting it is a 3 star hotel, and it's more than satisfactory, if you go on holiday to never leave the hotel probably not for you, but if you are happy to use it as a base its lovely. Clean rooms, good aircon, cold beer, lovely quite setting. All in all a lovely relaxing few days."
Torralbenc, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World ★★★★★
"our children have bought a voucher for a menù degustaciòn & cata de vino to celebrate our 40th anniversary of wedding. Upon our arrival we asked what the menu was including in terms of wine and the waitress told us with nonchalance that we could take a bottle of wine. We have chosen one of your Torralbenc white wines, which honestly speaking was not what we expected from a location and wine maker such as you're supposed to be. On top of that, boh waitresses had major difficulties explaining every dish course which made the experience even more difficult. We must say that this experience was rather disappointing both in terms of food and wine. Nobody told us that we paid a surcharge to taste more than only one wine - at least the experience could have been a bit more exciting. Anyhow, be sure that we will not recommend your location."
Castell de Lô ★★★
"Communication left much to be desired"
HG Jardín de Menorca ★★★★
"Pleasant stay, clean and spacious rooms, great atmosphere and helpful staff."
Sol Milanos Pinguinos ★★★
"Hotel is huge compared to my usual holiday. Emailed hotel prior to visit for a quiet room. Yes it was away from neighbours but the entertainment of an evening made it unpleasant. I asked for an another room but reception advised I did have a quiet area! Other guest I met were on the other side of hotel and did not hear the entertainment!! Couldn’t be bothered to press the issue just wanted a stress free break. Food never hot, not enough vegetarian options. The restaurant itself is so noisy and children running round unsupervised. The smaller pool was never open until 11am. Average sunloungers and not many parasols. Music in quiet area was dull and monotonous. Met some nice people and was a nice break but would not return"
Menorca Experimental ★★★★
"Pretty hotel with dreamy pool. Loved the whole vibe. No need to leave during our 3 night trip. Enjoyed a wonderful small group Pilates and the spa (great massages and steam sauna). Delicious food and cocktails- service could be patchy at times but we just leaned into it … We stayed in the Mahon garden room which was very generous and had a great roll top bath."
Amagatay Luxury Boutique Hotel - Adults Only ★★★★★
"I had a beautiful stay at Amagatay! The service was amazing, the staff are very friendly and on hand to help with anything you need. The food was also great, we had dinner at SUA and it’s a must. Will be coming back :)"
Royal Son Bou Family Club ★★★★
"I returned a few days ago from our second lovely holiday here with my family. We stayed in the Hooky sea view room. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. The food was buffet style and very tasty, I ate fish and veg every day. My 5 year old son had everything he liked- they cater very well to children!. The pool is fab and to be honest we spent most of our time here enjoying the sun and swimming. My favourite activity was pool aerobics and dancing, the staff made it so fun, extra points if you do it drunk. The best thing about the resort is the staff, they are so welcoming and accommodating. I’m particularly grateful to Anabella for helping to organise a cake for my husbands birthday up in Los Olivos, It was so last minute that I asked and she still pulled it out of the bag for me, Fernando was also amazing here too, thank you. Iker and Jorge were wonderful, they went the extra mile every day, were lovely with our son and with us. It was great to see them again. I hope that the hotel recognises and rewards staff like them. The children’s activities are good at Kiko land, the splash pad is a nice addition. The children’s club staff work really hard putting on shows and running activities during the day in the boiling heat. They do such a great job. We are booking 14 nights next summer. And looking forward to returning. I think this place is worth coming to, it’s very family oriented and caters well to that demographic. If you come here you won’t be disappointed."
Osprey Menorca Hotel ★★★
"Receptionist was lovely and the hotel is in the perfect location - right next to the beach. Couldn’t recommend more."

Villas Finesse by Menorcarentals
"Positives The villa was spacious and had 3 beautiful sized bedrooms, with 3 bathrooms and a four poster bed. The pool was massive, and really deep. The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. Our neighbours in the nearby villas were all Spanish and were very quiet and respectful. We found Son Bou to have the longest, most beautiful beach of the island. (Further down the beach near the sand dunes was the quietest spot). Negatives Sadly the villas are opposite hotel Valentin, which had loud performances and music every night 8pm-11pm. It ruined the quiet feel to the area. The villas needed a few updates- broken toilet lids, missing tiles in the swimming pool, rusty radiators."
Arenas de Son Bou
"Thanks to Mario who made our trip worth our while always a kind word and full of positive energy, the all inclusive buffet was good - the deserts were just a bit industrial but the mains were delicious, the hotel room was ok and clean. I’d advise to rent a car if you want to lake the most of the island, not too expensive and parking is easy"
Apartamentos Son Bou Gardens by Menorcarentals
"Two t-shirts were stolen from our clothesline. We asked for an explanation and they told us it must have been the kids from the complex and that they'd provide us with an indoor clothesline, which they never did. They completely ignored us. The receptionist was a real ****."
